More of this au (now named Guard Rogue Au!!). On most typical runs, Siffrin flees after being defeated in the Death Corridor and immediately takes a break to panic.
still plan to continue with that isat-stp fusion AU, I prommy, but till then, have this Loop design for the AU

I've been seeing people's designs for the other party's 'Loops' if they were the only ones in the time loop and hear me out
What if instead of them all being different kinds of stars/start phases, they were all different astronomical objects?
Like Siffrins Loop is still a star, but maybe Odiles Loop is a moon, Bonnies is an asteroid, Mirabelles is a planet, and Isabeaus is a comet (I just came up with random ones for all of them so ofc they're probably not exactly that, but you get the idea, right?)
Idk I just think it'd be cool if the thing they turn into changes based on their personality or something :P

Having a lot of fun writing this so I hope yall enjoy it! I'm hoping to get chapters out every week or two? No promises though sadly :(
You know this was supposed to just be a silly fun AU
I don't know how I got to the point of expanding everything to the point of introducing constellations to the religious system and creating an all new craft type
Also my computer is infected with loop critters. This doesn't have anything to do with the AU I just thought it was fun :P
OK because the game thing doesn't work with how I want the timeline in this AU to work, and since it's an AU, I'm gonna change it up and pretend you can totally read the Sad Diary before finishing the friendquests.
The story reason? Siffrin is a curious and stubborn child who says screw trauma I wanna figure this out so touching the spoopy star book it is!

ANYWAYS HEAR ME OUT
what if, when Siffrin loops back during the suspicious event in Act 4, he instead loops all the way back to the beginning, and Odile is now stuck in the loops with them?
Odile freaks out when she's back in the shop, and books it to where Siffrin is napping yelling for him. Siffrin, meanwhile, just woke up and is very confused. They hear Odile and turn around to see her staring at him. And he just looks horrified. Because Siffrin just trapped his family in here with him.
I am back with my, 'Odile gets stuck with Siffrin after Sus event' AU, which will now be referred to as the Suspicion! AU
Basically, Siffrin, of course, loves handing the flowers out to his family. One of the few things they do take joy in. But, since they all react the same, it becomes less fun. Siffrin still does it, of course, but less frequently and it's one less thing that make them happy now.
Until Odile is stuck. At first, Siffrin just gives Odile a majority of the flowers since they have Endless Amounts of Guilt, and while he can't do much, he can give out flowers which seem to make Odile happy (they do, they very much do. Odile every now and then will give one back since they both go to the shop as a thank you). However, it also very quickly rekindles the love for flower gifting, since Odiles new reactions to them make Siffrin like it again. AKA, it forces them into the awareness that if the others could react differently and have a silly amass of flowers, they would.
Eventually Odile asks why Siffrin is basically giving Odile a flower collection even if she can't keep them every time, to which Siffrin responds that it's fun.

Isat but every time Siffrin loops, Loop has to sit through an entire loop without siffrin and every time this happens the amount of loops they have to sit through increases by one. Like the Stanley parable skip button gag. I think that would be funny.
Ok just throwing this idea out there cause its been rattling around my head and with how unrefined it is I gotta get that out.

Call that shit like.. In Scrybes and Time or something cause it keeps the acronym and it kinda rolls off the tongue.
Probably gonna spoil stuff from the actual game and both endings because like rambling, so here's the spoiler warning!! specifically for both endings and such!
Alright anyways let's get rambling
So, Loop replaces Leshy, call them the Scrybe of Stars or something like that.
Siffrin is the player character instead of the nameless protagonist, no irl stuff with the disk and such.
The party is now cards, I'd imagine the find order is probably Mira, Bonnie, Odile and then Isa, order will be explained later but all I've thought of right now is Bonnie is a Crab that generates 2 cards that function like mealworms.
It's 4 maps, going through the boss sadnesses, the king, and then, if requirements are met (think getting the film in the main game, probably finding the silver coin?), Loop themself as the Leshy fight replacement.
All the bossfight masks are lit with this nearly spotlight thing behind them cause Loops head is a fucking star and that cannot be good for Siffrin to stare at, but it only really ramps up when Loop slaps a mask on.
The boss sadnesses are minorly developed into like, actual scrybe followers instead of just voiceless beasts, still keeping some of their gimmicks I'll figure out how to translate all this into inscryption terms later
Any time Siffrin wins (not including winning the Loop fight) or dies, they get looped back to map 1, funny little remark from Loop, i.e "Oh! So close Stardust, but not close enough :)"
It's basic but I'm probably gonna try to doodle this out later, Party Cards and Loop too.

AU where people from the island are instead fallen angels
I'll probably post more about this when I have ideas more fully formed (I came up with this about 4 hours ago at 3:00 am) but for now here's a few little details: 1: Angels hail from a place called Celestia. Their powers are heavily connected to space and the Universe.
2: Fallen angels are typically angels that were banished to the mortal realm for one reason or another
Siffrin was not banished, and instead fell in a freak accident as a child
3: The number of wings and halos an angel has increases as they age and grow in power. The average adult angel has two halos and 6 wings.
Siffrin has only one halo and four wings because he fell as a child
The king has three halos and ten wings because he is strong as hell
I love worldbuilding (especially around magic systems) and I will post more about this au when I have more concrete ideas about how everything works.

(Act 1, Scene 2)
An In Stars and Time fanfiction, spoilers under the cut!
You’ve entered the House, and are now in a room Mira called “The Death Corridor.”, searching for traps.
There isn’t much here that could be trapped, only the six pillars, which you’re already checking for switches or other activation devices. You also try to walk on every part of the floor while you’re at it, in case of a pressure plate or a trapdoor or something, but you don’t find any traps, and tell your party the corridor’s safe. Mira, however, needs more convincing.
“So? So??? Are we safe? We’re not safe, are we, this is the Death Corridor...” Mira worries, “The older housemaidens kept saying people died there! So there must be a trap- something weight-sensitive or something!”
Mira’s getting more frantic now, her nails are getting dangerously close to biting-distance!
“Or, or! Maybe it’s time-sensitive! If we spend to long here...!”
“There’s nothing weird in here.” You say, finally.
“But there must be!”
“Aw, Mira...” Yes! Isa to the rescue!
“Belle, Belle, don’t worry about it.” Bonnie interjects. “Frin isn’t good at many things, but they know stuff about traps.”
Hey...
“Right. If we can’t trust the one that’s supposed to lead us THIS early, this won’t bode well for later...” Odile says.
HEY...
Mira seems unconvinced. “But, but-“
“We’re not dead yet, are we?” you say.
“Well, that’s true...”
“We HAVE been in this room for a while...” Odile looks up from her notes and at Mira. “...and Siffrin has been walking everywhere, so if it was weight-sensitive, something would have killed him by now.”
“Exactly! It’s all fine!” Isa adds, hurriedly.
“Oh...Yeah! Yeah, okay! I’ll believe you!” Mira flushes with an embarrassed smile. “Sorry... for worrying... I'm a little on edge.”
“We’re good, Mira.” You say, stepping into the middle of the corridor. “See? Everything’s fine.”

An In Stars and time fanfiction, isat spoilers under the cut!
Well-done wishes hurt you like needles. They produced small, sharp pains until dewdrops of craft bleed from your skin, and you grant them.
There’s been far fewer good wishes as of late, as you’ve neutralised a country especially responsible for using Wishcraft. Old scars have had time to heal over, people have seen less red, and you’ve saved a few portions of your craft.
However, you’ve always found an art in finding the most disruptive way a wish can be twisted, and have always liked watching the aftermath of your work. That was what Wishcraft was for, after all. A way to make a deal between you and the wisher, where, in exchange for turning their life into your artwork, they would get to decide one thing about the piece, and how many portions of your time and energy you spent on it.
One of your most recent works came from a wisher in Corbeaux, in Vaugaurde, on Earth, a satellite of the sun, in the Milky way.
It sounded twelve times;
“I wish for Vaugarde to stay perfect.”
Twelve portions were given to make Vaugarde stay perfect.
Now, the unpainted parts of Vaugarde are sore with poor wishing. A discomfort similar to that of a graze. Few parts cut deep enough to draw craft, so only one portion bleeds out, even as you push around Vaugarde gently with your fingers.
You can hear roughly what they’re wishing for;
“----wish—Vaugarde---”
“----Vaugarde---The King---”
“I---save Vau—"
“-----stop—King---”
They want you to undo your previous work.
...You don’t think you could do it with only one portion, the pain is broad, also, so you can’t figure out a place to pinpoint the wish. Which means, under current circumstances, it's impossible to grant.
That is, until...
“I wish to stay with them!”
It sounds three times.
The wish of a traveller, in Dormont, in Vaugarde, on Earth, a satellite of the Sun, in the Milky Way cuts into you, and draws three portions. You give them four.
Three for them to stay with their companions,
And an extra to save Vaugarde.

A traveler hailing from an unknown country. Happened to be in Vaugarde when the Star attacked, and was the one to rise up and being together a party of saviors to fight back. They specialize in healing.

Once a skilled Defender, Odile quit when her peers refused to unite and fight back against the Star. Despite her fighting skills, she seems to be rather knowledgeable as well. She has the highest HP out of the entire party.
The Scientist

A scientist with a heart of gold, and mastery over Craft. He joined the group in order to research ways to defeat the Star, and banish the Darkness consuming Vaugarde. He is a skilled attacker.
The Pilgrim

Craft type: paper, scissors
Once a housemaiden of Dormont's House of Change, she ran away after the Star attacked. People say the Change Goddess herself blessed her with the power to wake up those trapped in the Darkness.
The Kid

Craft type: Rock
A 12 year old girl from Bambouche who ran away after the Darkness reached her village. Wants to save her sibling. Wielding a mallet, she is not only skilled in cooking but can pack quite a punch.
The Star

A strange celestial being that seems to have appeared out of nowhere a year ago, spreading their Darkness throughout the country of Vaugarde. Anyone who is trapped in the Darkness for too long falls into an eternal dream.
Dawn

A mysterious stranger who lives in the abandoned clocktower in Dormont. Claims he is here to help Mirabelle escape the loops.
