I think it would be really cute if Shuri started wearing a Heart-shaped herb in her hair (obviously not a real one 😭)

ok but like, has anyone else noticed that in the beginning of BP:WF, Shuri’s wardrobe is mostly white and at the end of the movie she’s wearing black???

In traditional African culture, white is the color used to symbolize death and grief for funerals

and then, at the very end of the film when everything is over, Shuri is wearing black while burning the funeral clothes.

I think it’s really cool how ever detail in this movie symbolizes Shuri’s grief and development as a character, and the clothes show that. Big fuckin props to Ruth E. Carter

My marvel hyperfixation is coming back, so here’s a page of my marvel oc, Cami, and Shuri, in honor of lesbian awareness week. Before anyone says anything…it’s for my personal self indulgence and I really don’t care if you’re gonna tell me that Shuri “belongs” with a different character.

Was Bucky just chillin’ in Shuri’s freezer next to the hot pockets when N’Jadaka invaded Wakanda or did he just hear all the explosions from his little farm with the goats and go “Huh...better not” and just bake a cake or something?

Because the Royal Family of Wakanda was the only thing keeping him safe and without Shuri, or T’Challa, or their mother in charge, it’s more than likely that he would’ve been forced to flee and go back into hiding or Killmonger would’ve tried to kill him. Emphasis on try, because even with one arm I’m pretty sure Bucky could kick some serious ass...just a thought...

Or better yet, did Killmonger know about Bucky and send a team or something to kill him while he and T’Challa were essentially acting out the plot of the Lion King? Since Bucky has a lingering reputation for taking out politicians JFK and likely royalty anyway?
