Sabo Week Day 4 - Memories
given my inability to draw anything thats even remotely sad (or emotional in any way), i went with teen sabo and teen koala for today :3
based on my headcanon that sabo isn't that good at fishman karate- well, he is, but he got rusty after focusing on other types of combat with dragon- so koala would always spar with him only to kick his butt everytime, resulting in sabo growing frustrated. definitely a cherished memory for him

Going for something cute that has the ability to look normal among mid to upper class civilians in case she needs to mingle with nobles, but just a bit more militaristic and practical for fighting! Thinking of doing a layer by layer breakdown for her outfit as well

okay, Koala & Sabo headcanon cuz this had been on my mind (not a ship, just bffs being bffs)
so, 16yr old Koala and 15yr old Sabo hanging out in one of their rooms by themselves, quietly reading and just hanging out
Sabo glances up and sees Koala looking confused at whatâs sheâs reading, so he asks about it. she tells him that the two characters in the story sheâs reading just kissed and sheâs never got why so many books have kissing scenes and hype it up so much. she just doesnât get it
he thinks about what she said for a second and looks up at her
he asks, âwanna try?â
she stares at him for a second and shrugs, âokâ
they look at one and other for a second before leaning in and lightly pecking each other on the lips
they sit back to the spots they had just been sitting in, evaluating what just happened. both look at the other for their friendâs results
Sabo shrugs, âitâs nice i guessâ
Koala shrugs back, ânot a fanâ
âdid i do it wrong?â
ânah, i donât think so, just didnât like it that muchâ
âah, alrightâ
they stare at each other for a few more seconds in thought and then go back to their books like nothing happened
Fast forward 7 years, Saboâs bisexual and Koalaâs a lesbian
They also silently agree to not talk about it, and they donât. that is, until they both get black out drunk at a party, play truth or dare, where Sabo picks truth and gets asked who his first kiss was and what happened, and they both drunkenly giggle and tell the story. everyone goes silent and is just like
âhuh.â
so whoâs going to make cute tashigi/koala fanart or fanfics? because i have come to the realization that one of my favourite rare pairs has a grand total of zero pieces of fan media made about it and iâm sad :(
just.. think about koala teasing tashigi and her getting all flustered and embarrassed and them being all cute and cuddling and aahahshskdjdhsk
