Also, I'm fairly certain E is the most popular rn simply because they're one of the only ROs at this point that actually has feelings for the MC. Usually the asshole ROs get a lot of attention, but I feel like knowing from your replies that all the other ROs just want to control the manipulate the MC really limit a lot of people being interested in them (At least rn when we can't thirst over certain scenes to ignore the red flags).

Hmmmm I can agree with you on the fact that E. is the most popular RO so far (which I'm not complaining about cause I love that sweet sweet angst huhuhu) but I think people are a little confused about the RO's? Aside from Leo and Nikita (the two most sussiest characters I've made so far) it is fairly reasonable why they want to control the MC considering they know the MC's capabilities more than anyone, and now that they're at their most vulnerable state and easy to manipulate, they can't wait to grab them first. Twenty on the other hand despises the MC and wants nothing to do with them. V. is a little sus but they got good intentions 😄 !Caesar hasn't even met MC yet 😭 as for G., well they just want to kill MC, oops, guess MC can't run away from their terrible past all the time 👀

(and oooh i'll keep that in mind when I'll be writing those scenes then! Can't have the people forget the remaining RO's can we?)

How dramatic is the memory loss? Is it specifically events related the crime and subsequent arrest, or is is that most of the MC's past is missing? Is there a possibility that the MC's personality/values/loyalties could change drastically as a result of the memory loss? Maybe even when they learn what they did, they're like "Woah, I did that? Past me was nothing like present me."

Oh it's COMPLETELY wiped out from the beginning till the end! Including their own name and age. Like a blank sheet of paper. And indeed it is possible for the MC to have a drastically different personality, viewpoint and opinions than their previous self. Some characters who knew them before would even point it out actively. Infact the MC themself will make it clear that they are nothing like their past self, they are a completely new person. So your last line about them remarking about the striking differences between their past and present is indeed true to the point. Hope that answered your question.

Ohoho I can tell you my dear anon that the culprit who turned out MC this way is actually one of the RO's! though who remains to be decided for now, but I can assure you that whoever they are, they had plenty resources, power and motivations for the MC to feel threatened enough to give up their own memories for their and others sake

As for our backstory, aside from E.'s route where one can decide to either go with the FWB or normal route, MC's entire backstory will remain the same. But the MC will get the chance to be completely different person from their past self and reflect on their previous actions and perhaps even get redemption if possible?

MC met E. in one of their investment events for their companies biggest project so far

MC got intrigued by E. who were specifically sent by their parents to quote unquote, "woo" them

You can guess where it went later then 😉😉😉 but E. ended up falling HARD for MC who appeared to reciprocate their feelings partially

E.'s love language is physical touch, which includes hugging and just simple hand holding in general. Meanwhile MC's love langauge is words of affirmation,where they intentionally or maybe unintentionally express their feelings for E.

After the MC was convicted of treason and sentenced to be "executed" E. went feral and had to be forcefully immobilized and imprisoned for weeks before before they could be let out again. They were never the same again and the warmth in their heart gave way to cold, cruel hatred and rage.

Okay, yeah nope I can't romance anyone else before E, because yes I'm a sucker for fwb or ex-something, I'm the first to admit it but the longing, the pain you will get in their route? no other route compares and I'm here to cry for it.

So basically in Puppy Play, you have to roleplay and pretend to be a dog, that including walking on all fours, and barking like one. Yes it's weird but to one their own eh. In a controlled and consenting environment it can be a pleasant experience about forgetting all about ones worries and troubles, but ahem, in this case, considering who is in charge of this (*cough* Nikita *cough*) it would most likely be less about consent and more about dehumanizing and his own entertainment. He will likely keep you chained up with a pretty little collar around your neck to remind you and warm others about who you belong to, and if you're a good boy/girl maybe you will get a few head pats and treats too (if you get what I mean hehehe). You will be his own little puppy, a faithful and loyal one that will never betray him again, and he will make sure of that. Even if it means completely breaking you and turning you into a follow shell of your former self. As long as he is here you don't need to think, just be a good boy/girl and will be fine. Right?

Eirene carried me solely through the story mode so this was the least I could for her 😭 she's literally so pretty I couldn't help but use her as a motivation and basis for E. and ooooh looks like the Count/Countess has gathered quite the following here 🤭 I'm sure they're feeling quite complicated

It has been mentioned earlier that this world is a dystopian one, where only the people in power are counted as humans :D plus pissing off a member of the Senate or just the higher executives in general is like pissing off someone with Bill gates monetary power and a president's authority. People don't appreciate being made a fool of yknow :)

My guess is:

MC was some sort of spy or an undercover cop sent to collect information within the rebellion because they were one of the best spies/cops possible to send in (hence them having plenty muscle memory despite amnesia)

MC instead started to believe in the cause and ended up abandoning their original mission— and their bosses knew that

MC slowly climbed up the hierarchy, high enough to be handed sensitive, crucial information, and the bosses realized they could try to catch MC and extract all that information

They knew MC enough to form a successful ambush, kidnapping them while also getting to wipe out and/or arrest some important rebels, but they didn't realize MC would go as far as to erase/block their own memory just to keep important information away from them

However, because MC did it hastily, it was sloppy work and they ended up accidentally putting themselves in a coma that lasted two long years

MC was high ranking enough that capturing them was enough to make the rebellion wobble, but the loss of some other important figures and the bosses strategically leaking that MC was a spy that ended up demoralizing and distracting the majority: they believed it was MC who gave the intel that led to the murder and arrest of high-level rebels and leaders, and now they were hiding like a coward

Basically, MC was made out to be the scapegoat, a traitor to the rebellion, hence why the survivors hate their guts

After the incident, it was easy to wipe out the rebels, but still, some important people did manage to escape and lay low, people MC has information on

MC cannot be let go: they have important information tucked away in a dark corner of their mind that can still be extracted, they are too powerful and charismatic that they can end up forming a second group of rebels more powerful than the other should they bring back their memories, and other surviving rebels might kill them

And now... we are here at today lol MC in jail, hated by the population that remembers them both before and after the rebellion, under the close surveillence of their former bosses

It's *multiple chef kisses* JUST.PERFECT. although not entirely correct, there are some part in this super long and deliciously juicy theory that I can't help but fear that you are some sort of telepath to closely guess the basic storyline I had in mind. I mean the part about MC being a spy was quite far fetched, however them being ambushed and used as a scapegoat to topple the rebellion and becoming the centre of everyone's ire is quite close. I won't say anything more for fear of revealing anymore sensetive information and possibly spoil the fun, but this is one theory that I can gladly read over and over and never lose interest in. It's that good.

Twenty and V. bond with eachother over their respective fascination and interests and fondness for MC, while Twenty and G. already knew eachother from the beginning.

The other two ships, with Nikita and Leo, and Leo and Caesar is considered a V poly because the MC is only thing bringing these opposite forces together. Ok maybe not with Caesar, but with Nikita it's a hard balancing game.

If you choose to not go with the FWB route, then they most likely won't even glance at you oof. And if it turns out that you're a scummy goldigger, we'll, off to be trialed you are! Either way you're gonna be either executed or throw to some reformation camp where you will likely die of hunger or be killed by some rogue prisoner like you. 😋

So Nikita never had a crush, huh? Then imagine mc before they lost their memories, they were in love with him but started to sorta "date" E hoping to forget him and not mess up their friendship, like shit. Maybe E knew or not? and maybe Nikita found out after all the dust settled.

Hmmmm although that does sound like a very cute and ANGSTY scenario, unfortunately canonically it's not possible. Mainly because Nikita and MC's relationship was primarily cordial and duty related, they were like acquaintances who occasionally shared a common coffee and complained about things they shouldn't be. He had absolutely no romantic feelings for MC, only interest and appraisal. Like looking at peculiar specimen different from a regular species. Maybe that could change now with the MC's changed attitude? Who knows. Nevertheless an interesting thought for future food ;)
