OH RIGHT. Now that I have this I can use it to post the renders for the clipdumps I make in higher quality for those who want them.

Starting with the renders seen in the intro. Tho these ones were eventually used in the thumbnail instead.

(This more blue version of the first render actually seen in the video was made by my bestie @callie-cyxq)

And the render used in the finale with Find Your Flame. An inside reference to a tradition I have held since the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere. Splatfest Pizza.

I honestly gonna say that I will probably change design of Connie(what the fuck your face looks like) and maybe Mizu(I think I like her hair). I like an idea of their shell being like a hat or a hair cloth (idk if that's even a word), covering their eyes, but I just cant make it look right.

Everyone else turned out good and I like how I drew them, especially Ayunna, she looks really cool.

Fun fact, now Mizu don't have to borrow anyones clothing, 'cus they have their own now! Ayunna def helped her choose something so that she won't only buy things that look like octarian uniform.

I had so much thoughts about them but now my head is empty.

I missed the end of Grand Fest because i was at the Ren Faire. Guess i was just stuck living in the past.

And with that, the grand festival is over…

Thank you so much to everyone who played, whether we were on the same team or not it was an absolute honor to fight with you all. This felt truly special in a way no other splatfest has before. No matter what the outcome is I am extremely proud to have participated!

I genuinely had so much more fun with this splatfest than any of the others I’ve participated in, it was probably the most fun I’ve ever had playing splatoon. I didn’t start playing splatoon 2 until we’ll after it’s final fest, and so the grand fest really did feel like a finale for me. It allowed me to come full circle in my splatoon journey.

So to everybody who participated:

the final splatfest is over,,, and even tho my team didnt win these last few days ive had the most fun playing splatoon in a while :)

i grew up with this game and the sights and sounds of the grand festival were a breathtaking finale to this wonderful trilogy of games. as bittersweet as the ending is, im so glad i played and had fun. thank you splatoon :)

Splatoon has so much heart

Really. Seeing the whole grand fest and Nintendo's wrap up video for all the splatfests just... oh my heart. Its so clear to me the team behind Splatoon loves this game. I had an absolute blast. I spent so much time playing the grand fest, I even called my mom about it. I rambled to her about the idols, how cool the tricolor stage was, I didn't even care who won I just enjoyed every moment of it.

She told me that was the happiest she'd heard me in a while.

Splatoon has so much lore, so many little details... I just love how much care was put into the series as a whole. It really beat the odds, too. It came out on the Wii U, and iirc Nintendo didn't expect it to grow that much. But it blew up into an amazing game series. Its one of my favorites of all time. And it just makes me so happy to see how deeply the Splatoon team and Nintendo care about it. I'm so happy I got to experience all of it.
