"So you know how C is procedural, Haskell is functional, and Java is object-oriented? You may ask: 'what about Python?'
Well, Python is bullshit-oriented."
My friend, teaching me Python.
I have STs coming up( 17th Feb) , which are basically the tests but have high importance and if I did my best for them , then end terms will be in my favour obviously. So rules are all uncomfortable, all difficult but uncomfortable = success chances are high . Secondly believe in yourself.

Day 01 ๐
Today was a good day with some motivation from various things , I'm trying to get out of the rut I have trapped myself in for the last 1 year , it's going to be difficult to do everything all at once so I'm focusing on 1 by 1 . There was a lot of friction and resistance felt by me from my body and mind but I tried my best.
๐Physical:
Did some push-ups and arm exercises.
I got good sleep and woke up early before 7:30 am .
๐ทMental:
Read 5-7 pages .
Did journaling a little bit but satisfactory.
Search on the upcoming course I'm going to begin with .
๐ธSpiritual:
I did yoga and breathwork in the morning= best thing I did.
Meditation one time at night .
Been grateful and learned a lot today.
๐ฏ๏ธThings I learned from today :
Failure happened, life sucked for once , dreams broken but if I quit it will never happen and if not, there is more than 1% chance of it to happen.
Keep going , Aim high , keep working hard towards that thing .... Because if it is in your mind , it's a coming reality.
Time will change, and definitely for my good now.
how do people do hobbies or learn other things on top of university?? I'm trying and it genuinely does not seem possible [we're going to ignore the daily 5hrs of screentime]

Progress :)
for my first project in java I'm going to make a to do list application, enhance it as I learn more and more stuff then at the end build it properly with xml
so the 60 days of productivity challenge did not work out and that's fine we can always start over. but I've realized the way I've been studying is fragmented and all over the place so I've decided that I must do the following things:
1. Learn java
2. Then finish the kotlin course
3. Then make an app
4. then study more c++
5. then do a project in c++
and this seems very ambitious but I'm not planning to be an expert in these languages anytime soon, just know enough to make stuff and grow my knowledge through practice. ideally I'd like to do all of these things by mid to late October. And I'll do projects throughout the year so I don't forget and can improve :)
I'm starting java today, I'll post a lot here to keep myself accountable and I hope I can do it. I'm excited to learn new languages and build things!
Day 10/60 of productivity
Today:
- 2hrs of kotlin
- worked out
- cooked :)
day 9/60 of productivity

I do not like this language :( but it makes me happy that my c++ knowledge makes learning a new language easier
Day 8/60 of productivity
Learning kotlin now and im not fond of the tutorials to be honest, I prefer the teachers from the past videos and I'm now using other resources on top of the course. im not being as productive as id like the past few days i hope this week is better.

- 2hrs of Udacity course (I'm now 70% through android dev fundamentals :))

I wanted to study more in the evening but the wifi was being spotty so I'm just going to sleep. I'd really love to wake up early tomorrow and get stuff done but we'll see.
day 6/60 of productivity
I'm really enjoying learning this. I'm making apps and even tho they're simple ones right now it is so incredibly satisfying to see the little android icon pop up on my phone screen knowing I made it :))

worked out
read Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr for 1hr

I'm going to start another challenge tomorrow this week next week because the 30dop really helped last semester. this time it'll be 60 days of productivity.
goals for this challenge:
- study and complete at least two classes I'll take next year
- revise c++ and study oop in c++
- learn java
- do at least 5 projects in java and c++ each
I hope you're all having a good summer :)
it's over!! 2/3 exams weren't bad and I really really hope I pass the third one (pray for me). but that's the end of second year. this blog will go back to being an actual codeblr during the summer because there's a lot I want to learn by myself without the pressure of uni.
computer architecture and organization final tomorrow. let's hope it goes well ๐๐พ
day 30/30 of productivity โโ
it took me two months but I did it! 30/30 :) I wish the studying could stop today but i still have a little over a week left till my last final.
day 29/30
I'm feeling less panicked about everything which is good. I went to the library in the morning, hung out with my friends for a little bit, came home and studied all night.
day 28/30 of productivity
I studied properly today!! I feel dead but it's okay cos in less than two weeks it'll be over and I can do whatever I want (rot). last photo is professor leonard who I would die for and is the only reason I have a chance at passing this cursed class.
day 27/30 of productivity
today was the last day of class. I sincerely hope I never see these teachers again. didn't study because I had a headache (when do I don't) and I was on campus till 1pm and also because I just couldn't make myself study. spent an hour in the morning preparing for an evaluation for our assembly language class so I'm considering the day productive. the teacher actually changed his mind about the evaluation tho and I'm pissed off I wasted that one hour. Also: I dunno how people in med school and other more intense degrees study for long hours everyday I feel like I'm losing my mind and I've only been doing it for two weeks. this caption is long lol it got away from me but it's my blog and I can write a paragraph complaining about uni shit if I want to
day 26/30 of productivity
stressed out about not studying enough which leads to me not being able to study which leads to more stress. fun
day 24/30 of productivity
relational algebra
day 23/30 of productivity
finals in two weeks and then I am free ๐ง๐พโโ๏ธ๐ฉท
day 22/30 of productivity
studying SQL and to make it fun I made a database of my favourite hockey teams and players ๐
day 21/30 of productivity
had my calc exam today (horrible awful but it's fine) and I finished the database group assignment- also awful and horrible but ultimately fine. The submission date got moved to tomorrow instead of today and like I've been saying in every post I am soooooo tired. on the right is a cappuccino I bought impulsively yesterday cos I knew id be staying up all night. It didn't do anything for me cos coffee never does but I like to pretend.
