Personally I’m into puritan names like “Fight the Good Faith of Faith” or “Flying from Fornication.” Though I also like the headcanon that he changes it whatever he feels like. Have all F-middle names.
What do you think America’s middle name is?
I’m curious since I’ve seen people give him the most random names, from Alfred Fucking Jones to names that are actually plausible like Alfred Franklin Jones.

Would nations get traits off of their rulers? Or maybe physical traits? Like when Trump was in charge, what traits did America get? If he got any tbh. Probably they are affected by what the political party believes? Like some nations would be more liberal, I guess, but other nations are uh not really. I know that sometimes nations do not even want those bosses (a head canon of mine). I think that France didn’t want Marie Antoinette and Louis XIV ruling. Or Greece hating the monarchy (it wasn't even Greek to begin with).
Names in Hetalia are weird.Like I’m fine with some like Matthew Williams(Canada),but some others I’m confused. Ex. Alfred F. Jones. WHAT THE FUCK DOES THE F STAND FOR??Also we know that certain nations are related to one another, so why don’t they have the same last name? Is it bc of the different cultures, or something else? Also some names and last names are spelt wrong, for example Greece’s last name shouldn’t be Karpousi it should be Karpouzis (Καρπούζης). The one that annoys me the most Lithuanias. is it fucking Tolys or Toris. Most likely Tolys but I want to hear people tell me why it may be Toris.
I feel like America is a shit driver mostly bc of one stupid moment in history. Back in 1895 in Ohio there were only two cars, in the whole fucking state the 2 cars managed to crash. And it’s not like they could go very fast back then, no you could walk faster than those cars. Literally every nation that drives makes fun of him but he doesn’t mind.

There wasn’t a day that went by that Emil wasn’t amazed by his boyfriend. Between his charisma, intellect, and ability to do and say the most random things, there was never a boring day. For example, Alfred built a replica of the white house out of waffles last Wednesday. Emil was too impressed to be upset about the mess Alfred made in the kitchen.

Emil doesn’t mind translating for Alfred, he actually quite enjoys it. There’s this satisfaction that he gets from having this ‘one up’ on his boyfriend. But of course, Emil acts like a moody teenager constantly. At this point it’s involuntary, he just approaches every situation with sarcasm. And so, to avoid “annoying you my dude” Alfred set out to learn Icelandic…
“... and after we come back from the restaurant and the carnival, I’ll give him the big surprise!” Alfred took a big breath. “So, what do you think?” Matthew sighed on the other end of the phone, “I think it’s sweet, but it seems like a lot of work. Also, Emil isn't really a “big plans” type of person. Don’t you think he’d just like to spend an evening in?” True, Emil doesn’t really like people. But he would love this surprise. “Aw come on Matt! He’ll love it!” Alfred was beaming. He really out did himself this time, this is going to be the best anniversary yet!.
Emil had on a pair of black slacks and a gray button down. Alfred had told him to wear something nice. He looked at himself in the mirror, “This is nice enough, right?” He shrugged, it doesn't matter what he wears as long as he thinks he looks good.
He heads downstairs. “Hey good lookin’! I haven’t seen you bust out the slacks in a while.” Emil blushes slightly. “You told me to look nice… wait… are you wearing that fancy cologne that Francis got you for Christmas?” It was Alfred’s turn to blush. “Yeah, I was saving it for special occasions.”
The two headed out to this fancy restaurant downtown. It was nice and quiet, which Emil liked. On the way home, the pair stopped for ice cream. Alfred got some rainbow sugar-sugar ice cream, Emil got black licorice. It was late by the time they got back home. The two settled in to watch one of those cheesy Hallmark movies.
When the movie ended, Alfred pulls Emil onto the back porch. “You have more planned?” He asks. Alfred flashes him that brilliant smile, “Of course! This is our fifth anniversary!” Emil smils, he loves this dorky man. “Close your eyes!” Emil closes his eyes.
“Okay, you can open them.”
Emil gasps, Alfred to standing there with a bouquet of flowers. But they're not real flowers. Each flower is made of black licorice twisted and shaped into a flower. It's personal and sweet. Only Alfred and his family would do something like this for him. "I love it Alfred." Alfred smiles.
Then, he says three words in Icelandic. Emil stops in his tracks and just stares at Alfred for a moment. "What?" Alfred repeats the phrase. It starts as a chuckle and escalates into loud, belly laughter. Alfred looks very offended and confused by Emil's reaction. Emil finally caught his breath enough to reply to Alfred. "Do… do you know what you just said" Alfred huffs, "yes! I said that I love you!" Emil laughs harder, "No Al, you just called me a cow." Alfred looks mortified, "what...I…I didn't mean too! Matthias told me that is how you say I love you." Emil smirks, "He lied." Alfred runs a hand down his face. "I'm so sorry Emil. I messed it all up." Emil put his hands on the side of Alfred face. " you didn't mess anything up. You planned a wonderful evening. This gift was so thoughtful, doesn't matter is Matthias who I am going to strangle later messed it up. I love all of it, just like I love you."
They kissed.
Why is it so hard for everyone to understand that Russia is straight? Every fucking one in this fandom headcanons him as gay, gay, gay! He can be straight too, fuckers.
It's so tiring, especially since Russia is my boyfriend too. I've literally been shifting to the Hetalia universe for like a year now, and he told me straight up that he is STRAIGHT and NOT ATTRACTED TO MEN! Yet this fandom keeps shipping him with men. All. The. Fucking. Time.
Like, no offense to gay people or anything, but is it that hard to comprehend that he's not gay? He's fucking RUSSIA for fuck's sake! Being gay is illegal there!
And also, stop shipping him with his enemies. America does not love him, they hate each other! Neither does Lithuania love him because he's straight and with Belarus! And China literally has a genderbend you can ship Russia with, so you don't have to ship him with the male version! CAUSE HES STRAIGHT!!
*sighs* I'm just really tired, especially as his girlfriend because whenever someone says he's gay or he's in a relationship with America or someone else he would NEVER get in a relationship with because he's STRAIGHT, I feel like I'm being erased. And I feel like I'm... I'm not worth...
*Begins crying*

As someone from DC, much of the Hetalia fandom lacks the nuances of growing up in such a place; especially in regards to the character of America/Alfred. America/Alfred would have a secret service detail, many of the events he would go to would be high security events, he would probably LIVE IN DC or in the area, he would give tributes at US leader’s funerals and would be in the front row alongside the family and presidents, BE WOULD HAVE A MEMORIAL LIBRARY AT THE VERY LEAST, he would adore DC sports teams and would probably want to meet Jaiden Daniels irl, at the Easter egg roll he would dress up as the Easter bunny and run around with the kids on the White House lawn, AND HE WOULD HAVE A COLLECTION OF PICTURES WITH THE PRESIDENTS. That man would live and breathe DC and I STAND BY MY TRUTH!

If America had son, he would name him after Davie and try his absolute hardest give him the happiest childhood possible. However, once this kid reaches his teen years, he’d have an extremely rebellious phase and foster a strong hatred for his dad. America would be absolutely heartbroken because he named this kid after someone he loved deeply and instead he’s been met with rejection. It’s as if he’s become distant to Davie all over again.
Hetalia Headcanon: America can speak French and does so without much hassle when he needs to. However this rarely if ever happens because France and Canada absolutely hate it. He speaks Louisiana French specifically, which sounds so foreign and divergent to the both of them, meaning they think America’s French is crappy and inferior to their own.
