@myrddin-wylt Has this sad as hell headcanon about the 7 failed American Colonies and how Alfred continuously just not making it and getting sick etc. affected Arthur and I’ve seriously not been able to think about their relationship any other way for days.

But can you imagine Alfred’s absolute obsession with his birthday being because Arthur made a big deal out it it when he was little? Since every consecutive year that Alfred stayed alive was such a huge deal that Arthur made a point to celebrate it each year.
