Patricide is Harder than it Looks (LINK)

Cloud made a promise to Gaia, believing he would return to the past to stop Sephiroth from erasing Cloud’s existence. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned. It didn’t help that the Goddess elected to solve the issue of his continued existence through the use of Sephiroth’s cells. Couldn’t she have made him a bit bigger at least?

When Sephiroth was called to an emergency in Hojo’s laboratory, he didn’t expect to find the Professor dead, nor was he expecting to walk out a father to a mysterious five-year-old boy. Nor was Shinra, for that matter. Nevertheless, he’ll adjust. He hopes.

Shinra’s SOLDIERs hadn’t expected to babysit Sephiroth’s new son, who may or may not be looking to commit patricide.

(AKA Gaia saw Sephiroth needing a family and yeeted Cloud at him like a son-shaped grenade.)

I love the niche I have stumbled onto in this fandom. Time travelling kid!Cloud and the firsts freaking out about him is my favourite. I don’t know why there’s a bunch of these but I’m very happy there is :)

@tunafishprincess I blame you so much right now.     Cloud is convinced at this point he had to have been an awful, world-destroying calamity in a past life to justify all the bullshit that keeps happening to him.   

He glares at his reflection in the water. His silver haired and deaged reflection.   

Gaia had sent him away, forced him between realities in an effort to ‘save him’ from Sephiroth and Jenova. A last gasp of power, but Cloud doesn’t get what Gaia had been trying to do. Why She’d sent him here.    

Why he isn’t with his friends, why he has to look like this? Why is he a child, why, why why?  

He scrubs at his face and ignores the burning building behind him. At least Gaia had been nice enough to leave (somehow) the Phoenix summons with him, and Phoenix’s fire had been more than enough to destroy both the mansion and Jenova. Vincent for some mysterious reason hadn’t been in the mansion, but Cloud isn’t thinking about it too hard.    

He’s not exactly sure if Vincent even exists in this world.    

He apparently doesn’t.

His stomach drops as he feels an all too familiar sensation. An all too familiar feeling of a thread tying him to something greater.   

He looks over his shoulder, into the Nibel night and watches his worst nightmare approach.   

Sephiroth.   

Sephiroth is here, and he’s in a child’s body and, and, and.   

Cloud feels his heart start pounding and feels his breath speeding up and he needs to stop, he needs to calm down, he needs to, he needs to…   

Cloud feels his knees go, and the last thing he sees are Sephiroth’s eyes widen and his nightmare lunge for him.

I will take no criticism, this is my reality now.

After releasing his Devil Trigger, Nero’s hair keeps growing to the same length, no matter how many times he cuts it. Much to his annoyance. OR I LOVE ME SOME LONG HAIRED NERO >:D

They would be friends and Laura would kick Sherry’s parents in the shins and make them regret their life choices :)
