So what got you into writing fanfics? Which fandom trigger that creativity in ya?
Naruto š„²
The very first real fanfiction I ever wrote and posted online all those years ago was one where the characters came into the real world and my OC Kye had to help them get back.
I was very young and didn't know what I was doing yet, but it was fun and after that I never stopped.
My eating disorder has been rearing its ugly head, so have this thing I wrote to distract myself from feeling sick while I put myself back together a little.
Note and Warning: This is solely my experience with something of this nature, Eating Disorders can show in all kinds of different ways
Xeno glances at his watch, a frown pressing into his face. It was rare that he was the one ready to eat first. Usually, it's you who comes and drags him away from his work for a meal. But today, something was off.
Actually, something has been off for a few days now.
Three meals a day had fallen to two, an almost absurd amount of time passing between your breakfast and dinner. He'd been a little concerned, but hadn't thought much else about it. You both were busy, it was expected that schedules would change.
But then weren't eating at all.
No breakfast, no lunch, no dinner, not even little snacks. All the food the two of you kept has been untouched by you for two days.
Now, Xeno was worried.
Were you ill? Had he missed something?
He pushes away from his workstation, scanning the room that was otherwise empty of people, wondering if maybe you were waiting for him and he just hadn't noticed you. But no, he was definitely alone.
The sun had fallen some time ago, leaving the colony to be lit by artificial light and the soft glow of the moon above.
He asks Luna and her two young devotees as he passes them if they'd seen you all day. Luna confirms that you'd been out and about as normal, commenting that you looked at bit rough, though in that same breath, she claims that you'd insisted you were fine.
He thanks them, and continues on, moving a little faster now.
He should have been more mindful, should have paid more attention. You were in bad enough shape that others had noticed, yet it had slipped right past him. What a fool he was to neglect you in this way.
He pushes his way into your shared living quarters, calling your name as he does.
"Welcome home!" You're absolutely beaming at him when he turns the corner to find you curled on the small makeshift sofa. You hop to your feet and meet him partway as he lurches to reach you.
"Are you alright?" He asks, taking your face in his hands, trying not to grimace at what he sees.
You did indeed look rough.
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine," You say, tone a little confused.
"Good," He says. "Are...you hungry?"
There's a pause, a flicker of something in your eyes.
"No, not really."
Surely, that was a lie. There was no way you'd eaten recently at all, not with how haggard you looked, or how your body was shaking.
"When was the last time you ate?" He asks.
You avert your eyes, gaze flitting around to look at everything else but him. Guilt presses into your face.
"I had some water earlier," You say.
"Water is not food, my love," He says. "When was the last time you had food?"
Another long pause. It makes his chest ache at how long it takes you to answer a question that should not be this hard.
"I dunno."
That wasn't good. That wasn't good at all. The human body couldn't sustain itself without proper nutrition.
His mind starts racing, searching for numbers, reports, and facts that he could use to figure out what was happening to you.
The colony wasn't lacking on food. There were plenty of cows and corn and other things they'd been growing. If something had gone wrong in that department, he'd have known a long time ago.
So then, were you choosing not to eat? But why? Was it an image issue? A health problem you hadn't disclosed? A mental disorder? All of the above?
"Xee?"
If his calculations were correct, you likely hadn't eaten anything in at least a day, if not two. A full meal would cause you to be ill. So what was the best way to go about this?
"Xee!"
Something small, first. Finger foods. Something you could eat one or two of at a time.
"Xeno!"
He'd have to monitor you. Perhaps he should take the day tomorrow to help you reorient your body before you passed out and got hurt. The colony would survive without him for a short while. You were far more important.
"Xeno Wingfield!"
He snaps back into focus, zeroing in on you instantly. He could almost laugh at how you looked like the worried one.
"My love," He says. "I'm concerned about you."
"I'm alright, Xee, really."
How could you look so calm? How could you act like this was of no consequence? He couldn't understand it.
"How often do you starve yourself?" He asks. "How has it gone past my notice for so long?"
"I..." You hesitate, looking away from him. A large part of him wants to get angry, to demand your answer faster. But he couldn't do that to you, not when you were clearly already having a hard time.
His poor darling, he just wished you'd said something.
"I was getting better," You finally say.
"So this is some kind of relapse?" He asks.
"I guess? It's kind of hard to explain."
"Please try. The more I understand the better I can help you," He presses his lips to your forehead, hoping his small act of affection works as the encouragement he intended.
"It's started in high school. You remember what it was like back then. Everyone was mean and judgemental, and I didn't feel like I was enough. So I stopped eating, for a really long time. And no one helped me. My parents missed it, my siblings missed it, my friends missed it, I was totally on my own."
You sigh, rubbing your eyes, then continue.
"I was sick a lot because of it, and I think that's what finally shook me out of it a little bit. I was tired of being ill and exhausted and miserable all the time."
"Did you get treatment?" He asks, fearing he already knew the answer.
"Xee, come on, you met my parents before we were all petrified. What do you think?" You say it with a laugh, but neither of you really think it's funny.
He kisses you again, just under your eye. He didn't know what else to do, or what else to say. He just wanted you to know that you were cared for in this moment.
"Anyway," You say. "I eventually got things back in decent order, but I guess...I'm sliding back down the metaphorical hill."
"It's alright, my love. Slide as far as you need, I'm here to help you regain lost ground," He says, pressing a few more featherlight kisses to your face before pulling you close to hold you in his arms.
There are no tears as he holds you, no sniffles or weepy words. You seem so utterly numb to the situation, that he's certain this isn't the first time it's happened.
"Let's have dinner," He says. "And tomorrow, we'll spend the day together."
"I can't just have a whole meal, Xee. I'll get sick."
Ah. He was indeed right in thinking this wasn't your first rodeo with relapsing into your disorder.
"I know, my darling. I'll make you something small and easy to digest for tonight. We'll work together on returning you to eating full meals over the next couple of days," He says, already making mental checklists and plans for the future.
He'd have to get Stanley involved. He'd need his trusted friend to look after things while Xeno took the day off tomorrow. Stanley would also be the perfect person to have keep an eye on you, to make sure you were making progress. He'd tell Xeno the moment you needed aid.
There was a worry of embarassing you, though. So perhaps he'd bring up that possibility later. For now, you needed food, more water, and rest.

General:
Ryusui loves physical contact, he just doesn't get a whole lot of it
He suffers from being surrounded by people who are too afraid to really touch him due to his status or general attitude
The most affection he gets from his family is the occasional shoulder pat or firm handshake
But he wants more, and he is determined to get it come hell or high water.
The problem is that he doesn't really know how to get the affection he wants. He can't force it, or pay someone, it just doesn't work that way. He has to earn it, and with his personality, that can be hard (not that he'd ever admit it)
With His Partner
You coming along is his biggest win, in his humble opinion
You are so free with your affection, he's obsessed.
Has to be wherever you are at all times just so that he can be holding your hand, leaning on you, or smushing you as close to his body as he can without hurting you
Purposefully has a bed that's just barely big enough to hold both of you so that he can be fully wrapped around you all night
PLEASE let him lay on you while you're both naked, this man loves his skin-to-skin time (not necessarily in a nsfw way but be prepared for what that can cause this man is obsessed with you)
Lowkey gets a little huffy when you touch someone else, even if it's on accident or 100% necessary
His absolute favorite thing in the world is when you hold his face in your hands.
Okay, so I saw a post on How Gen was originally supposed to be the one unpetrified instead of Suika. But how both Boichi and Riichiro Inagaki changed it to her because it will hit people more in the feels in an interview. Now I'm just thinking of the different possibilities of what if; one that kinda stuck is what if it was one of the cast s/o, like senkus, ukyo, Gen, Tsukasa or even Kohaku. Like bro the feelings it would be after those 7 years of being petrified and coming back to be the only one who came back
OKAY BUT WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME
The absolute heartbreak. It's one thing to have to make revival fluid on your own, it's another thing having to do it while your lover is trapped in stone.
Imagine the first day Senku wakes up, his eyes landing on his significant other who's seven years older now. The tears, the yelling, the hug.
I'm gonna go lay down and cry
Yipe :D
Bet you can't guess who I am-

Dr STONE AU based on my horror movie post where the reason Stanley shoots at the Kingdom of Science is initially because he's not sure they're actual people.
They'd been dealing with American folklore. Shape changers and things that can look and act human, and mimic voices and cast illusions.
Stanley who, when they panic and run, realizes that they very much are real actual human people. No, not just people. Kids. Children and young adults barely older than Luna.
Xeno is still very much holding to his goal of total power, but the two of them decide to herd the young scientists towards their colony, instead of away, for the sake of keeping both science and humanity from falling to The Things That Were Here First.
Finding out that the cryptids of lore and legend only lingered in one or two places because of restrictions placed on them by the growth of humanity.
Mothman is in California
The ancient mines in Appalachia have been leaking Things for hundreds of years that have wandered west as well.
Senku, who picked up a Siren along the way, fighting with his want to study every creature that he sees, while also having to deal with the little girl with glowing eyes who keeps trying to lure Suika into the forest alone.
Ukyo, who has to keep his ears stuffed with wax because he can hear the language They speak behind the trees, a language so ancient and unknown it's starting to affect his mind.
Stanley, who has to speak softly and with little expression, so that when The Thing That Looks Like Him comes back around the others know It's a Fake.
...anyway I gotta finish these requests and get back to To the Moon and Back so I can write this next
Hi Hi hi!!!
I'm sorry but I CANNOT STOP READING WHATEVER THOUGHTS YOU HAVE ABOUT SENKU!!! I'd love to hear more about ur oc and Senku together š„¹š„¹ <33
(but ofc- it's up to you if you wanna share lmao. I love your fic on ao3 too!! Thank you for reading this!)
AAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
I have so many thoughts about these two I genuinely don't know where to start.
Pre-Stone World, Odie lived in a pretty bad place, and had very little in the way of a support network.
The one person you'd think would help her ran off as soon as he possibly could, so she had to deal with the brunt of it alone.
She is 100% Stan's biggest hater and it's his own fault
But then she gets assigned this little pen pal project in the Japanese class she's taking because her school just happens to offer it, and ends up picking Senku as her partner by chance (his class sent the first 'hello' letters.)
He doesn't give her much to work with, just a name and a generally polite greeting.
So that's all she sends back. Her name, and a generally polite greeting.
And that makes Senku curious. All the other kids in his class got long, drawn-out letters, so why didn't he? What was different about her?
They vibe together shockingly well, once they start actually communicating.
Once phone numbers are swapped, it's almost non-stop
He's a certified yapper and she's a listener, and he takes full advantage of that.
She has sat through several multi-hour science lectures without complaint. You think Yuzuruha and Taiju are strong willed? They've got nothing on this depressed American teenager.
Has, on more than one occasion, purposefully texted him a hyper-specific science question out of nowhere while he was in school just to see if he'll answer it
(He does. He texts her the most quick and dirty explanation, then goes into details about it on the phone later that night.)
She also skips school and pretends to be sick a lot, and Senku will always answer a text from her (unless he's in REM sleep, but he'll always reply to her as soon as he's up)
It doesn't matter that Japan is 16 hours ahead of the United States, if they're both awake, they're probably talking
Things like this are pretty common.
Senku is the one to bring up the idea of doing video calls with their computers instead of just regular phone calls.
She bullies the hell out of him and honestly he kinda likes it (not like that I swear)
He likes that she makes jabs at him, but isn't trying to actually hurt him
And he'll shoot it right back at her, so it was totally fair
I, too, am a certified yapper and I love these two so much I am so excited to have them have their reunion in my fic. A tiny spoiler, it doesn't go well.
I just had the realization that here soon I'm going to get to see
[mild manga spoilers]
Sai Nanami animated in all his beautiful glory and I will not apologize for the person I am about to become
Hi! I really enjoy your style to write and the thoughts of Dr. Stone you share with us! I especially love the idea of mythological creatures being real in Stone World!
I was rewatching Dr. Stone and noticed something in the episode where Stanley shoots the gun while Xeno watched and Stan didn't hit the target perfectly in the middle. Xeno just talked happily while Stanley observed the gun like searching a fault in the weapon itself in dissappointment until he noticed the tobacco plant.
That reminded me that during nicotine withdrawal some people may experience shaky hands and I'm just head-canoning that he's so depending on it that he isn't in his best aim without it and even after a long pause still feels the effect so Xeno assumes this is the case and that's why he guides Stanley how to make tobacco.
I haven't found others talking about this or I might have missed that entirely since that episode came out a while ago but I can't stop thinking about this detail.
To the actual request, if you have time and like the idea, would you write Xeno dealing with Stanley when he is experiencing strong withdrawal symptoms that messes up his work flow and is very dissapointed and harsh to himself about it but Xeno intervenes and confronts him?
Take your time if you decide to put this on your work pile! Wishing your weekend treats you well! ā§āĖāą¼ā§āĖ.
This actually catches me at the best possible time, since most of the requests I've been working on are finished and in my queue to come out over the next couple of days.
So, here's the thing about quitting smoking suddenly from someone who's done it. It sucks. You get shaky and irritated (among other things), and even though the withdrawal eventually fades, it's miserable while it's happening.
I'm not sure this is totally what you asked for, but I had fun with it
"Dammit!"
Xeno halts mid-step, head turning to find Stanley glaring at one of the targets made to keep his skills sharp. It was late, the soldier should be preparing for bed, not lingering out here while the sun continues to fall.
"Stanley," Xeno calls, noting immediately how stiff his friend gets. Stan glances over, an unhappy expression pressed into his normally calm face.
"...hey."
"Are you alright?" Xeno asks.
Stan doesn't respond, looking away again. His gaze lands on the target in front of him. Xeno glances at it as well, frowning a bit when he notices that not a single bullet hit the center, as they always used to.
"I see." Stanley hadn't needed to say anything for Xeno to understand. "Withdrawals?"
"Guess so," Stanley tucks his hand into his pocket, letting out an annoyed huff when he doesn't find the cigarettes he was still so used to having on him at all times.
"It won't be for much longer. The human body only takes up to four weeks on average to reorient after ceasing intake of nicotine," Xeno says. "You've been doing quite well."
"Well?" Stanley asks, turning to look at him. "I'm doing well?"
"Are you not?"
"Xeno, I can't fuckin' aim," Stanley's accent slips from him as he loses hold of his calm. "My hands won't stop shakin', I can't sleep, and my fuckin' head hurts all the time! I'm useless like this!"
Xeno reels back a little, eyebrows furrowing.
"Why did you not say something? I could have been more helpful to you," Perhaps it's a bit selfish, but Xeno can't help feeling a bit hurt that his potential to give aid had been overlooked. Stanley lets out an annoyed noise, scrubbing a hand over his face.
"Because it's not your problem," He says, earning himself a hard look.
"It very much is," Xeno says.
"Xen-"
"You are my oldest friend and greatest companion, how could I not be affected by your struggles? It may not be my addiction, but your problems are, have, and always will be my problems." He leaves no room for argument, though with how Stanley's spine straightens and his eyes narrow, he knows the man is certainly ready to try.
"And, if I may add," Xeno continues, before Stanley can open his mouth. "You are the farthest thing from useless. You are the most competent person besides me in this wretched little place. I would not be able to do anything if it wasn't for you. Shaking hands, or not."
Stanley lets out a hard breath, his shoulders loosening a little as he takes in Xeno's words, mentally digesting them and allowing for them to calm his stirring mind.
"Yeah, alright," Stanley mumbles, turning back to the target. He lifts his hand, holding the revolver as steady as his hands would currently allow (which, Xeno admits to himself, isn't much), and pulls the trigger.
The bullet hits the target dead center.
"Getting better already," Xeno teases, earning himself a huffed out chuckle.
Xeno allows himself to get closer to his companion, eyes scanning Stanley's body as the man reloads the gun and starts back at his practice. It's not just his hands that shake, but his knees and breathing as well. Stanley was certainly doing his best, but he still had a long way to go before his body accepted this new state of being.
His eyes catch something nearby. A familiar plant.
The sight of it makes Xeno frown. The moment Stanley caught sight of it, he'd want it. More than anything else, he'd want the naturally growing tobacco to feed the habit he was doing his hardest to fight.
The target pings when a bullet goes astray, just barely hitting it on the very edge, and Xeno decides not to say anything.
For now, anyway.
Can I send a nsfw headcanon I have for Senku? My apologies, I'm not sure if you're comfortable with that
You can send it, I don't mind. I just might have comments about whatever it is
