An (over)analysis of the eggxile firepit and its relation to q!slime.

Several months ago Slime isolated himself from the rest of the server and built eggxile, one of the few builds there being this firepit:

He sets out four chairs, one for Mariana, one for Flippa and one for Tilín; each member of his family; each gone. Despite this Slime puts together the simple space, there is nothing extravagant about it other than the idea of Slime's family being together and whole.

When Foolish comes over to eggxile Slime gives him a tour, when he shows Foolish the firepit the sentiment still stands that he wants this spot to be for his family.

We know that family is a very important thing to q!slime and often something that has caused a separation between him and the other islanders. Slime on multiple occasions did things for Juanaflippa at the expense of his relationships with his peers: arguing with bbh after he didn’t want JuanaFlippa near Dapper, murdering Chayanne to save Flippa causing bad blood between him and Phil, he even attempted to kill all of the eggs in a blind rage after Juanaflippa's death.

eggxile is a tangible representation of the separation Slime feels from the other islanders, physically separating himself from the others, while still leaving space for his family he desperately needs, a space that remains empty, until one day it doesn't,

After months, Slime is at eggxile with Phil, Wilbur, and Baghera and he actively invites them over to the firepit, Slime, along with his friends sit in the chairs that are reserved for his family.

Slime never finds a healthy way to deal with his grief, but he learns to find connection in the other islanders, allowing them to fill those chairs.

Anyways, that's the silly little post, I know I'm overthinking it, moral of the story: found family for the slime man

i’ve been meaning to rewatch riptide to check but i’m wondering if you noticed, did chip or gillion have the curse from Kuba Kenta longer? i assume gillion from how bad it got but i was wondering if you knew

ooh, hmm i wasn't keeping track of it, but i think chip actually had it for longer? like, he started having nightmares after they left all-port, and then they sailed for a while to grim's island, and then they spent a couple days there, and then they went to liquidos which also took a while i imagine, and by the time they got to the church chip was still walking by himself and feeling more or so fine. with gillion they only really went from all-port to canella with a brief electrodon stop, and after one day in zero gillion was super fucked up already.

i think what might've made the difference was the fact that chip slept more, willingly or not, and managed to not get nightmares a couple times? whereas gillion just straight up didn't sleep and when he did it got very bad very quickly? like, if i remember correctly chip had two nightmares: the burning and the drowning, and gill had three: with edyn, cabin and price, and after the third one he was done. i think? might be wrong tho.

maybe the trip to zero somehow took longer than the entire chip saving operation. i think they said at some point that canella was pretty far from all-port. but i would assume that liquidos is also pretty far? and its not like gillion was more cursed, they both got scratched twice...

maybe chip is just built different, idk

I noticed that Tina and Pac don’t have a duo name, and it’s probably cause they don’t interact often but I would like to make a suggestion. I just think Jealous Duo would be really funny for them since both their characters get easily jealous when it comes to their partners, like Pac got jealous upon noticing Fit had a new fridge and only calmed down when Fit said Ramon gave it to him, and then Tina’s list of things she’s gotta jealous over include:

- Bagi speaking to a literal aroace woman

- the sun

- Cellbit for existing?
