Bob Lazar's Impact on Alien and Ufology.

Bob Lazar is a name that has become synonymous with the UFO phenomenon and the search for extraterrestrial life. His claims of working on alien technology in Area 51 in the late 1980s have captivated and divided the UFO community and sparked a renewed interest in the topic of UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

Lazar's story began in 1989, when he appeared in a series of interviews with investigative journalist George Knapp, claiming to have worked at a site known as S-4, located near Area 51 in Nevada. According to Lazar, he was part of a team of scientists tasked with reverse engineering and studying nine flying saucers of extraterrestrial origin. Lazar claimed to have seen and worked on the propulsion system of one of the craft, which he described as using an element called "Element 115" to create gravity waves and achieve near-instantaneous travel through space.

Lazar's claims were met with skepticism and controversy from the scientific and UFO communities, with many questioning the validity of his credentials and the veracity of his claims. However, Lazar maintained his story and provided what he claimed to be evidence of his time at S-4, including detailed descriptions of the alien technology and the process by which it was studied.

The controversy surrounding Lazar's claims only intensified when he was later accused of lying about his education and work history. Critics pointed out that Lazar's claimed academic background could not be verified, and that his former employers denied any record of his employment. However, Lazar maintained that his background had been intentionally erased by the government as part of a cover-up of his work at S-4.

Despite the doubts and controversies surrounding his claims, Lazar's story has had a significant impact on the UFO and alien community, fueling renewed interest and debate about the possibility of extraterrestrial life and government cover-ups of UFO sightings and encounters.

One of the most significant impacts of Lazar's story has been the renewed attention and scrutiny it has brought to Area 51 and other secret military installations. Lazar's claims about his work at S-4 and the existence of extraterrestrial technology have led many to speculate that the government is hiding evidence of alien life and technology at these sites, and has fueled calls for greater transparency and disclosure from the government.

Lazar's claims have also inspired numerous documentaries, books, and even a feature film. In 1993, a documentary titled "Bob Lazar: Area 51 and Flying Saucers" was released, which featured interviews with Lazar and other witnesses, as well as footage of Area 51 and other secret military installations. The documentary was well-received by audiences and helped to cement Lazar's status as a cultural touchstone for those interested in the UFO phenomenon.

The impact of Lazar's claims can also be seen in the ongoing efforts to uncover the truth about the UFO phenomenon. While many scientists and skeptics remain skeptical of Lazar's claims, his story has helped to raise awareness about the need for greater scientific investigation and research into the possibility of extraterrestrial life. Lazar's claims have also led to the creation of organizations and groups dedicated to studying the UFO phenomenon, such as the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI).

Despite the controversy and skepticism surrounding his claims, Lazar's impact on the UFO and alien community cannot be denied. His story has sparked a renewed interest and debate about the possibility of extraterrestrial life and government cover-ups, and has inspired countless individuals to search for evidence of alien life and technology.

In conclusion, Bob Lazar's impact on the UFO and alien community has been significant and far-reaching. While his claims have been met with controversy and skepticism, they have also helped to raise awareness about the need for greater scientific investigation and research

There’s a medical condition that I’ve noticed has been becoming more widespread and serious over the past few years.

Like, *technically* it’s been around since the 1960s, but it used to be that only a few people in the world knew about it and even then it was pretty benign. People will argue over when exactly it started becoming a more worrying condition; 1990? 2008? 2015? You can create an argument for all of these, but this is one of those few conditions where herd immunity actually works. If the general public doesn’t know about this condition, it isn’t really that bad.

The Phoenix Lights

The Phoenix Lights

Those who witnessed the bizarre lights described them as “otherworldly” and the phenomena is remembered fondly each year since it — whatever it was — was spotted. According to the Mutual UFO Network, on March 13, 1997 between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m., thousands of people reported seeing strange, bright lights flying over Nevada, Arizona and part of Mexico. “It wasn’t just one event, there were many events across the state …

Strafed by a Swarm of Tiny Lights at Booger Bottom

This is a story of three people-two men and a woman-who experienced a most strange and curious close encounter. The first man, a fifty-year old, left his Tucker home early on April 13, 2003, and drove to Greenville in rural Meriwether County to pick up his brother, a seventy-two-year-old retired autoworker, and his sister-in-law, a retired seventy-three-year-old bookkeeper. The three continued to Albany in a Ford Explorer to visit another relative.

After a warm reunion, the trio headed back toward Greenville on GA 41, a county road with little traffic and few houses. Just after nine p.m., they were only nine miles from Greenville, in a locale known as Booger Bottom. According to the woman, "we entered an isolated stretch of county road when suddenly there appeared inside our vehicle numerous red lights, which seemed to be darting around and moving very fast." She was sitting in the back and saw "a reflection or beams from the lighted spots" on the floorboard. "I looked up and the red lights were all over my husband and brother-in-law."

The brother-in-law slowed down to thirty miles per hour as his sister-in-law shouted at him, saying, "Pull over, those are police lights!"

The man looked around, but there were no police cars, and his brother chimed in with, "Police lights are blue, not red." He tried to count the number of lights but couldn't. They were described as small, "extremely erratic, strobing." A few "had short, laserlike beam qualities," like effects in a disco club. "I felt totally out of control," the driver said. "I looked in the rearview mirror to check on my sister-in-law and saw her in a panorama of bright red lights. . . . The events ceased, as quick as the onset, when a car or motorcycle appeared in the distance approaching the opposite direction." The lights "were everywhere inside the car, except the trunk."

The husband had noticed a red swirling object outside the driver's side door just before the episode started; then "all of a sudden, there appeared in our vehicle a swarm of red lights, jumping and dancing around on me and my brother." One landed on his stomach and lingered before abruptly jumping off. The objects were "gone as quickly as they came. . . . This was out of this world."

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called but had no interest in the incident. An online UFO investigation organization referred them to MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) Georgia.

Olivia Newton, MUFON and paranormal researcher, and another investigator interviewed the witnesses.

"We watch for body language, any discrepancies," said Newton. "They looked at us right in the eye and were very forthright."

The Trio were anxiously seeking answers.

The woman said, "I've got to know what this is. Are they coming back after us? What is they cart us off?"

Yes, indeed, a very good question.

Oh my god I just had a thought that made me bust a gut laughing. Idk how much you know about High Strangeness Events and the theories that aliens are from another dimension and are the same as fae, or are just tuplas made my humanity’s collective unconscious, or change their appearances to match what the viewer’s ideas of the future are, but thinking about bringing that sort of stuff up to Solkar and his absolute befuddlement at what Humanity expected aliens to be like is funny to me.

Solkar meeting a young human woman who’s a MUFON (Mutual UFO Network - ie, the UFO chasers and investigators. Yes they exist irl. Yes they’re unhinged and crazy. I love them for it.) member. She’s feeling equal parts mesmerized and vindicated that aliens exist, but she also can’t help but be a bit….disappointed at Solkar and his species’ appearance. They don’t look like The Tall Greys at all! She bombards him with questions, some of which are so ridiculous to him he can’t help but chuckle in amusement (like when she first met him and asked him with wide eyes if it was true that aliens had a secret interspecies breeding program with the US government). Despite her strangeness and, quite frankly lack of logic at times, she manages to somehow endear herself to him and they start courting/become mates. The rest of her MUFON friends get super jealous she got to bang the hot first contact alien and they didn’t. -🌑

I actually don't know anything about what you mentioned in the first paragraph of this ask, but it'd be interesting to learn about!

Oooh, Solkar meeting someone from one of those Alien societies would be so interesting, though! And him selecting her as a mate would be similar to some of the other Human/Vulcan pairs. Meaning, the Vulcan's thoughts would be like this: "They are highly illogical, silly, and a little strange...I must mate with them. Because it is...logical. Yes. Entirely logical."

And I mean...Solkar already made out with Zephram Cochrane within moments of meeting his species for the first time. She wouldn't have to do much to convince him to be her mate, let's just be completely honest here lol.

Mutual UFO Network (MUFON)

Budd Hopkins was an American artist known for his abstract expressionist paintings and sculptures. In the 1970s, Hopkins shifted his focus to investigating reports of alien abductions, becoming a prominent figure in the field of ufology. He published several influential books on the topic which helped launch the "alien abduction" movement as a subgenre of UFO studies. He remained dedicated to researching and raising awareness about alien abductions until his death. The physical marks on abductees' bodies and the supporting witness testimony were key pieces of evidence that Hopkins believed strongly supported the reality of alien abduction experiences, even if the full meaning and implications remained unclear.

THE DOVER DEMON

-

They said it was an alien.

The Mutual UFO Network was looking into the case.

Ufo.

Bullshit.

Billy didn't see an alien.

He didn't know why that couldn't be an alien, Billy just knew it wasn't.

That thing was ancient.

Deeply rooted into this stupid planet called Earth.

Billy felt it.

He didn't see an alien.

That thing was a damn demon.

After many failed Inktobers, I decided to stop trying to follow prompt lists that always end up boring me, so I'm challenging myself to draw a cryptid per day for all the month of October!

No lists, no prompts, just me drawing random creatures I like!

How fun is that?
