It is really a great tip, the only thing I change is that I put the words that I use to filter in 'has the words' rather than 'subject', bc in any other way it doesn't register.
(Although for kudos and comment it does work bc those words are in the subject area)
I've seen people say that their ao3 notification emails get quite cluttered, so I just wanted to share what I use! :))
I have Gmail auto-tag emails so my inbox looks like:
Here's step-by-step instructions on how have that done automatically
1. First of all, make some Labels - You can do this with whatever, I use fandoms
2. I like to change the color & hide from the list so it doesn't get too messy
For the filter:
3. You need a quote for Gmail to search for, you can just copy and paste from an existing email
4. Go to See-All-Settings
5. Select Filters & Blocked Addresses
6. Click on Create a New Filter
7. Paste the information and click on Create Filter
8. Make the filter add the label (tag) to emails, and Create Filter
9. Gmail will now automatically add labels to tag your emails :))
Grits my teeth. Why do people always assume I want to fuck a character when I post about them enthusiastically
Was scrolling through AO3 and found this gem
Enemy to parent is a trope we have to popularise lmao
And now, you wanna see how far down I can sink?
…And without you is how I disappear
- My Chemical Romance, How I Disappear
I’ve been working on this for a while, but now I have time to draw again I’ve finished it! S4 wasn’t going so well for Callum…excited for S5 though
"Still...I am sorry you were born, child. I have brought you a hero's fate, and a hero's fate is never happy. It is never anything but tragic."
GOD I WAS ALWAYS GOING TO LOVE PJO
You’ve heard of one shots, now get ready for none shots! It’s when you think of an idea for a fic and then don’t write it
