A digital fanart of the main characters from the show "Monsters At Work", all huddled up in front of the Monsters Inc building smiling, except for Duncan who is scowling at Tylor, as usual, LOL. From left to right, the group pic includes: Duncan, Val, Tylor, Fritz, and Cutter.

MIFTers (and Jokesters ๐Ÿ˜‰) ๐Ÿ”งโš™๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

This is an old artwork I did back in 2021 when the first season of 'Monsters at Work' ended, but since I didn't have a Tumblr back then, now feels like a good time to share it here for the first time!

I ADORED season 2, by the way! I thought the writing and storyline were SO good. If you love the Monsters Inc. franchise and haven't checked this show out yet, please do. You won't regret it. ๐Ÿ˜

A screencap redraw of a scene in the episode "Watching and Dreaming" from The Owl House. The image shows Luz (in Titan form), King, and Eda (in Harpy form) at night time, looking up in awe at falling orbs of light. Eda and Luz have smiles on their faces and Kings eyes are gleaming. Luz is riding her Stringbeam staff while King is on her shoulders, and Eda hovers beside them.

Watching and Dreaming - Screencap Redraw ๐Ÿฆ‰โœจ

Original image:

The original screenshot that was redrawn in my style as seen above. Same image description.

I know the anniversary of the finale was last week, but even so, I didn't want to miss the chance to make something to celebrate. The Owl House became my favorite animated show of all time, and it has probably one of my favorite finales ever. So of course I wanted to commemorate it. ๐Ÿ’œ

I've been struggling with motivation to art lately, hence why I've been slow on the posts. I think there's a number of factors playing into that that I won't bore you guys with. But I'm working through it, and I'm hoping to be able to post at a relatively steadier pace relatively soon.

The bright side is Dana Terrace once again has brought inspiration to me with her beautiful Titan Luz designs she posted recently, so hopefully I can tackle those in the near future, cause I'm currently obsessed hehe ๐Ÿคญ

A very specific nitpick I have with 'Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate'

I don't do text posts here very often. This feels odd, let's just get on with it.

I was originally going to write down a full-on review expressing my utter disappointment and disgust dislike towards the horrible and cheap "sequel" to my favorite Dreamworks movie, Megamind. A sequel which, by now, we all know was nothing but a glorified extended pilot for a Peacock series that I have not watched, but it honestly looks just as mediocre, so I have no current plans to.

Hoooowever, I have since seen many reviews of this "movie", most of which have been able to express my feelings and thoughts pretty well. So it felt like I didn't have much else to contribute to the discourse.

Except for one thing that I have not seen anyone talk about (or maybe they have talked about it and I just haven't seen it), and it was one of the things that bothered me most about the film. So this post's entire purpose is to publicly point it out.

"Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate" screenshot of worst character Keiko Morita holding up an anachronistic smartphone with the image of Megamind displayed.

No, I'm not talking about Keiko herself (although yes, she was my least favorite character and completely ruined the movie and this franchise for me thanks for asking). It's more the purpose of her character.

You see, and allow me to put my cranky old lady pants for just a moment, I believe most people have been able to guess that the entire reason this character was put into the movie was to be a target audience insert. So the 8 to 12 year-olds watching can go "Hey! This character is around my age and has the same interest as me! I'll keep watching for her!" (Do no ask me how well that's going because I personally do not find the excecution of it all that great, but I digress). And although, as a more mature viewer and long-time follower of the franchise, this does feel a bit annoying, having this kind of character when you're trying to appeal to a new audience is, technically speaking, not a bad thing in itself. And when executed well, this can totally work.

But here's the problem.

It makes no sense for a character like this to form part of Megamind's story.

You see, my friends, for those of you who have not seen this movie (which, for your own good, I sincerely hope is the majority of people who are reading this), "Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate" is VERY explicitly supposed to take place two days after the events of the first movie.

Just two days.

This is explicitly said at least two or three times in the first act of the movie alone (I value my sanity too much to rewatch the film to double-check that fact, but I'm fairly confident in that).

If you all remember, the masterpiece known as the original Megamind movie came out in 2010. Therefore, the most logical thing to assume is that the events of the film itself also take place in 2010, if not before that, right? It's never explicitly stated, but since there is nothing that confirms or denies this, I think it's the default assumption we as an audience should make.

Now, I did not own my first cellphone until the year 2012 when I turned 13 (don't make fun of me for that fact), so, correct me if I'm wrong. But I don't think in 2010, we were seeing thing such as:

Smartphones like the one Keiko has throughout the film,

People using said smartphones to make livestreams in which people leave likes and comments in real time,

Kids who are content creators gaining half a million subscribers in TWO LITERAL DAYS (I cannot stress this enough) by getting information and newsflashes from goodness-knows-where,

App equivalents to TikTok and Instagram with as much popularity as we saw in this,

And overall, just social media getting the same treatment and functioning the same in 2010 as it does in 2024.

I mean yes, in 2010, things such as the ones I listed above were probably beginning to take popularity and to become a thing. But they surely weren't as well-established as they're being presented to us in Megamind "2".

This cheapquel "sequel" is suppossed to be only two days after the first one, and yet, everything that revolves around THIS KID'S existence suggests to us that we're in the 2020's era of internet, influencers, and social media. Heck, the earliest I could buy any of this believably happening is like, 2018. 2015 as a stretch.

We went from 2010 to (at least) 2015 in two stinkin' days.

No sense whatsoever.

"Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate" screenshot of Roxanne Ritchi and Keiko Morita.

Logically speaking, there's no way TikTok Childstar Keiko was even born in the year the first Megamind took place. Like, her birth year is 2011 at the earliest, and you can't convince me otherwise. Why do you even exist two days after Megamind was renowned as the hero of Metrocity? Please go back to the womb.

(That got personal, sorry. This kid gets too much on my nerves)

"Well, TECHNICALLY since it's never stated when the first Megamind took place, nothing's stopping them from making it so that it's been 2024 all along"

If that seriously does not sound like gaslighting your audience in order to force "hip" references that resonate with the kids watching almost a decade and a half after the original film came out to you, then I don't know what does. I don't even care if "you're not suppossed to think too hard about it" (which is a lame excuse for lazy writing btw), just watching both movies back-to-back, the tonal differences and any chronological references just clash way too much for me to buy this as a legitimate follow-up taking place in the same universe, same city, and even same week.

So yes, "Megamind vs The Doom Syndicate" sucks, and the inclusion of this character and this anachronistic plotline, for me, is a huge reason why. It's insulting to the audience and a clearly desperate attempt to appeal to a new generation of kids that frankly, if Megamind had gotten a genuinely good sequel, they would've liked it all the same, even if it didn't include a 12-year-old TikTok influencer with a half-baked personality and forced role in the story. Because seriously, don't even get me STARTED on how forced her joining the gang felt, holy crap. ๐Ÿ˜“ But that's a tangent for another day. Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe I'll just leave this meme here and move on.

A meme of three men looking at a framed picture of Keiko Morita and exclaiming "I've had enough of this dude!"

This was, of course, only one of many flaws this movie had, but I feel like other people have ranted enough about how the writing, character portrayals, poor animation, bad humor, and lame attempts at world-building did the original Megamind dirty.

Here's hoping one day Dreamworks wakes up, thinks smart, and decides to give us the Megamind 2 we deserve, so we can all happily toss this... project, into the realm of non-canon media, where it belongs.

I couldn't agree more with this take.

The Agni Kai between Ozai and Zuko was one of the smartest, best additions to the show. I see people complaining about Zuko "fighting back", as though that's a bad thing or takes away the victimhood of his situation.

Zuko is prepared to fight someone else. Then his dad steps in. There's already a ton of pressure, and now confusion overwhelms, because wth why would he fight his dad and HOW. He doesn't want to fight him. But this Agni Kai's point is for honor, to prove himself to him, and a) he is firstly DEFENDING himself from his dad who is the one who starts fighting him hard. (throwing fire at him?? Hello??? Is he just supposed to take it??) b) don't you think Ozai would think worse of him if he didn't do anything at all? And don't you think Zuko takes that in consideration pretty quickly as his dad attacks him?

It's clear Ozai will fight. Now Zuko looks confused and scared during the fight, rightfully so, and he tries to figure out how far this will go. My wife keeps saying that he is sparring (and that y'all don't know about sparring, lol), and that doesn't mean you have to hurt your opponent, not the way Ozai intends. Zuko engages defensively, and then fights his father, hoping that's enough to show him that's he's good at this, that he's skilled. It doesn't have to go as far as Ozai takes it, it COULD just be sparring. Zuko COULD jusy try to show him what he's learned and hope his dad is pleased enough. Isn't that what he keeps trying to do anyway? Get his approval? Both he and Azula. Unfortunately, we know that's impossible.

The unfolding of this Agni Kai drives home the cruelty of Ozai in an even more intense way to me. Because no matter how well Zuko fights, it's not about skills, it's about how far he's willing to go, that's what Ozai is judging. The mentality behind it. Zuko isn't willing to hurt his father when he could, he holds back! That is his "weakness". And the way Ozai punishes this by doing what Zuko refused to do - burning Zuko where Zuko could've burned Ozai - that is a horrible reminder of this "failure" to go far enough, and the consequences it entails.

Zuko's scar now isn't just random placement, it has meaning behind it beyond the basic cruelty of Ozai hurting his child. It directly references Zuko's "weakness". Ozai showing him how it's done directly on his face, serving as a constant reminder that he couldn't be the strong one, so he got hurt by the one who was willing to be.

The sequence of Zuko holding back and Ozai NOT holding back but purposefully pausing and choosing to punish him this way was mind-blowing. Such a powerful, terrifying moment that makes Ozai feel even crueler than in the OG.

I don't think Zuko not engaging in the OG is bad at all, it virtually gets the same result; but I also don't think it's bad for him to decide to engage. It doesn't take away anything from the point, for me, the way it plays out in the live action takes it further. It examplifies Zuko and Ozai's relationship and Zuko's efforts - never enough - perfectly.

A four-panel comic of the characters Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle (AKA Sci-Twi) from "My Little Pony: Equestria Girls). The comic is done in a simple lineart-and-filling style.

First panel: Flash and Sci-Twi are sitting side by side at a table, studying. Flash, wearing his old jacket, looks over at Twilight, who is taking a sip from her mug.

Second panel: Flash points and Twilight and asks, "Hey, is that my missing hoodie?"

Third panel: Flash and Twilight share a look, none of them speaks for a moment.

Fourth panel: Flash closes his eyes with a tired smile and sighs in defeat. "Sorry, that's clearly *your* hoodie. Silly me," he relents. Sci-Twi smirks to herself.

Not My Hoodie Anymore (๐Ÿ’œSciFlash๐Ÿ’™)

This comic was commissioned by Alkabiadiz on Deviantart.

For those who don't know, a few years back, I made a lot (and I mean a LOT) of content for this ship. Like, I was almost exclusively an EqG and SciFlash fanartist for a few years. ๐Ÿ˜…

And even though I still love this ship and are widely recognized for my art of them, I barely make content of them nowadays due to both running out of ideas to make of these two and also moving on to other fandoms and content.

But fortunately there are still fans of these two out there who occassionally put their trust in me to bring their SciFlash ideas to life, such as my lovely client Alkabiadiz with this comic! It still feels nice to get to draw my nerds from time to time. โ™ก

An digital fanart of Hunter and WIllow from "The Owl House". Shown in a tilted angle, both in their timeskip ages and attire, the two share a soft, romantic kiss in the forest, iluminated by the soft rays of the sun behind them. Willow grabs Hunter's face, while he has a hand on her waist and another one stroking her short hair. Their palismen, Waffle and Clover, watch them happily.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! ๐Ÿ’˜ We've really come full circle since last year's Huntlow V-Day fanart. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿคง

A fanart of the characters Mushu and Cri-Kee from the 1998 Disney movie, Mulan. Mushu is holding and eating his famous breakfast congee with a bacon and eggs smiley face, but gives Cri-Kee a look as the latter poses on his chopsticks. Technique used: Colored pencils and markers.

๐Ÿ‰โค๏ธ Mushu โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‰

(and Cri-Kee ๐Ÿฆ—c:)

Hi again! I apologize for not having posted in all of January. I've been feeling iffy all month on top of being super busy with several things, but I still wanted to post something before the month ended. So here's one more repost from Disember, which I'm fairly confident most people on this site haven't seen xD

This was one of my favorite pieces made for last month. Mushu was a bit of a challenge to draw, but I think the end result doesn't look that bad! I feel like Cri-Kee doesn't look that much like himself, but at least he looks cute xD

And happy early Lunar Year of the Dragon, while we're at it. ๐Ÿ˜‹

A traditional artwork of Tiana and Naveen from "The Princess and The Frog". Technique used: Watercolors, and pen lineart. Naveen is wearing an elegant, white suit jacket with golden accents, and a dark gray suit underneat. Tiana is in a beautiful evening gown, colored dark green, with a golden belt, off-the-shoulder light green sleeves, and a see-through lime green shawl around her arms. The couple is slow dancing and looking lovingly at each other with flirty smiles.

๐Ÿ’š Tiana and Naveen ๐Ÿ’š

Surprise last post of the year! I've been trying my hand at watercolors lately, so I thought I'd make my last Disember entry (and last post of the year) extra special! (This is both for prompt 30 "Prince", and prompt 31 "Tiana)

So happy to finally draw my favorite Disney couple. ๐Ÿ˜ They were worth drawing while sick :'D

Thanks to everyone for your support this 2023! All my best wishes to each and every one of you this 2024. From the bottom of my heart, I hope everyone has a good New Years! ๐Ÿฅณ

An illustration of Beast, from the 1991 animated "Beauty and the Beast" movie. He's on his balcony, resting his face on his palm and looking down lovingly at Belle, whose smiling face we can see in chibi form. Technique used: Traditional lineart and digital coloring.
An illustration of Kida from "Atlantis: The Lost Empire", as seen in the scene in which she bonds with the Heart of Atlantis. Technique used: Colored pencils and pen. The image was originally drawn with reddish and black colors on a white background, and the colors were later inverted, achieving a look of blueish and white colors on a black background.
An illustration of Scar, Zazu, Timon, and Pumbaa, all from the 1994 film "The Lion King". We see Scar behind "bars" (made from an elephant ribcage), and an extremely annoyed look is on his face as Timon and Pumbaa sing "Hakuna Matata" to him from the outside of his prison. Zazu is perched just above Scar and is smugly looking down at him. Technique used: Traditional lineart and digital coloring.
An illustration of Tinkerbell, as seen in the 1953 film "Peter Pan" (and the "Tinkerbell movie franchise). She's sitting in a kneeling position, with a peaceful look on her face. Technique used: Colored pencils and markers.
An illustration of Thomas O'Malley and Duches from the movie "The Aristocats". They're both sitting on a chimney in front of the moonlight, with they're backs to the camera, as they nuzzle each other and hold tails. Technique used: Traditional lineart and digital coloring.
An illustration of the Genie from the 1992 film "Aladdin". He's smiling and winking at the camera. From his left index finger comes out an underline neon text that reads: "#Disember". Technique used: Colored pencils and pen.

โœจ Disember Entries, volume 2 โœจ

Didn't have time to make any holiday-themed artworks this year, so I'm sharing more of these instead! xD

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas! And if you don't celebrate, I still hope you'll have a chill and wonderful time. Sending you all my best wishes and hugs! ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿ’–

A traditional illustration of Minnie Mouse (as seen in the movie 'Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers'), drawn in a simplistc and geometric style reminiscent of Mary Blair's concept art. Technique used: Tombow Markers
A traditional illustration of Lilo and Stitch, smiling at eachother as they dance, wearing their hula outfits. The lineart is made with black pen and it's colored with colored pencils.
A traditional illustration of Snow White. She's seen from a side view, smiling sweetly down at the ground. The illustration is made with a combination of black pen and markers, and features a limited color palette of black and red, the rest filled out by the white of the background.
An illustration of Pocahontas and her racoon friend, Meeko, who's perched on her shoulders as they smile at eachother. The lineart is done traditionally with black pen, while the coloring was made digitally.

โœจ Disember entries โœจ

For those who don't follow me on Instagram, I've joined the Disember challenge being hosted by some real talented artists there, and decided to do my entries in traditional media, because I haven't touched traditional in years (aside for pencil sketches) and felt like I needed to dust off those skills xD

(You can check out descriptions to see technique used for each.

I'm posting all my entries on my Insta stories (and story highlight in my profile), and these have been some of my favorite pieces made for the challenge so far! I thought they deserved their own post. If I have more entries that I end up liking moving forward, I might post them as well. ^^

A fanart of Katara and Zuko from "Avatar: The Last Airbender". They're standing side-by-side, exchanging a knowing smile, while bending their respective elements. A wave of water that comes from her carrier flows gracefully between both of Katara's hands. Zuko's left hand is engulfed in an orange flame.

๐ŸŒŠ Katara and Zuko ๐Ÿ”ฅ

For Zutara Week 2023 (Prompts: "Union" and "Flow")

I had originally sketched/planned this for my 4 Ship Challenge, but ultimately swapped these two for, funnily enough, another Water/Fire ship, Wade and Ember xD But I decided to save it for a special occassion, and what occassion more special than the 15th Zutara Week! (Not to mention the trailer for the live-action remake made me had these two in mind again, so, great timing all around x3)

This is my second ever contribution to a Zutara Week, but hopefully it won't be the last, because I really love these two.

I'm really proud of how this turned out, especially the water ^_^

A digital drawing of Rose Gold, an original character by Ro994, in a cute witch costume with bright pastel colors, complete with a purple hat and broom.

๐ŸŽƒ Happy Halloween! ๐Ÿงน

Outfit based on this costume made by Alexandra Louise. It gave me Rose Gold vibes the moment I saw it, so I couldn't help but draw her in it <3

The picture contains three characters posing for a photo in front of a banner with colorful streamers that reads "Happy Birthday, Roโ‚ƒ!". The character on the left is Rose Gold, a girl in her late teens with shoulder-leght burgundy hair dyed pastel pink at the tips. She's smiling brightly, winking, and making a piece sign at the viewer. In the middle is a self-portrait of the artist, Rocรญo, AKA Ro994. I'm in my early 20s, have longer dark brown hair, and are on the chubbier side compared with my OCs. Side note, I'm wearing a Captain America shield silver necklace and my favorite long-sleeved, white, black, and peach blouse. Finally, standing on the right, is Roxanne Brooks, a woman in her early thirties. She had reddish-brown hair, also shoulder lenght, though hers is parted in the middle, in contrast with he other two girls' side parts. She too is smiling, though much more timidly than Rose Gold. She's making the Spidey hand gesture with her left hand. She's wearing a hoddie with a Bucky Barnes-inspired design.

๐ŸŽ‚ October 17th Birthday Girls ๐ŸŽ‚

It's my birthday, so I drew myself with my two main OCs, who also share my birthday! (Just different years haha)

Yes, all three of us are nicknamed Ro. And they do have aspects of my personality to them. But other than that, the three of us are super different!

To those of you who don't know them, the girl on the left (red hair, piece sign) is my Equestria Girls OC, Rose Gold. She has a magical talent to see who people's soulmates are, and is a self-proclaimed matchmaker, though her confidence in her abilities may surpass her actual success range. She may or may not come off as kind of crazy sometimes, but she means well and has a heart of gold! (No pun intended)

And the older girl on the right (brown hair, in the Bucky hoodie) is my MCU OC, Roxanne Brooks, AKA Seda. As you may have guessed by her hand gesture, she has spider powers! She started off as my Spidersona but ended up becoming SO much more than that, and she has her whole story and AU that I'm currently working on publishing! (The story is fully planned out, though) She's very shy and insecure, which sometimes makes her superheroing difficult. But she's one of the kindest-hearted people you'll ever meet (as long as you don't get on her bad side or messed with her loved ones). She has had a rough life, but when she meets someone who's had it even worse, finding common ground with said person may lead to something more blooming between them (COUGH her hoodie gives you the answer, COUGH).

EDIT: I forgot to mention that her hoodie design is based off one made by an Instagram account StyledByMarvel. I'm totally in love with that hoodie and I'm not sure if they still have it in stock, but if they do, I so wanna get myself one someday TuT

You can see more of Roxanne specifically in the Instagram I have dedicated to her and the OCxCanon couple, as well as the ongoing fanfic about them! I don't have a lot of Rose Gold's lore posted as of yet, but my next post is going to be a little introduction to both her and a secret relative that she may or may not get all that well along with. ๐Ÿ‘€

So yeah, hope you don't mind this little self-gift. I've been having a rough year for a number of reason, so I wanted to treat myself a little. I hope you're all taking care of yourselves and that you'll have a great day! โ™ก

She's so adorable. I can't believe I had never drawn her before. Had to fix that. I love her sm.

And here's a bonus sketchity sketch because I lowkey like it a little better than the end result xD (At least the face)

An art challenge template that reads: "Give me four ships to make fanart of!" at the top. Below are four fanarts of different couples (both official and non-official) from different fandoms and media. These couples include: Raeda (Raine and Eda) from The Owl House, Wember (Wade and Ember) from Elemental, JeanBluey (Jean-Luc and Bluey) from Bluey, and AmourShipping (Ash and Serena) from Pokรฉmon.

๐Ÿ’– 4 Ship Challenge! ๐Ÿ’–

Oopsie! I totally forgot to post this a couple days ago, my bad. ๐Ÿ˜…

I enjoyed drawing all these cuties. I might do another one of these in the future, since I love drawing couples so much, hehe โ™ก

Here they are individually in case you haven't seen them:

Raeda โ—† Wember โ—† JeanBluey โ—† AmourShipping

(Hopefully these will work since last time Tumblr didn't let me add more than 3 links for some reason smh)

A fanart of Ash Ketchum and Serena from Pokรฉmon. They are holding each other's hand and running happily while looking at each other, against a pink and white background. I know basically nothing about Pokรฉmon, so I don't think I can explain much else LOL. But if I'm not wrong, this is Serena's second outfit, with short hair, a hat, a red vest, and pink dress. And Ash is, well, Ash. LOL, I'm sorry, I'm very ignorant when it comes to this franchise.

๐Ÿ’ ๐Ÿ’™ AmourShipping ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’

Final pairing for my 4 Ship Challenge! I'll post the full template on Monday, but if you want to see it now, it's on my Instagram and X/Twitter! (Also all pairings have been posted individually here)

I know extremely little about Pokรฉmon, but for this challenge, I wanted to tackle at least one ship from a media I had never drawn for. Hopefully these two look okay in my style xD

This is dedicated to my friend Angy Lรณpez, a huge fan of this ship! She's not only a dear friend and lovely person, but also a really talented editor and writter! You can check her out on YouTube, Wattpad, Tiktok (anngie.k), and Instagram! If you're a fan of Equestria Girls or anime, you won't regret it! ๐Ÿ˜

An illustration of Bluey Heeler and Jean-Luc from the show Bluey. They're both in their young adult stage as shown at the end of the episode "Camping", and are walking through the campsite in which they met and later reunited. They're holding hands and smiling at each other. Bluey is holding a book.

๐Ÿ•๏ธ๐Ÿ’™ JeanBluey ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ•๏ธ

Third ship for the 4 Ship Challenge I'm doing! They were actually the most requested pair, hehe. โ™ก

Since I last drew them as humans, and I've already tried imitating the show's style as closely as possible (see: Color Wheel Challenge), this time I wanted to try and do a personal interpretation of the Bluey artstyle! It was an interesting challenge, for sure. ๐Ÿ˜…

A Color Wheel Challenge artwork, which shows a wheel divided into 8 sections, each one containing a different color and fanart of a character which corresponds to said color. The characters include: the Fairy Godmother from Shrek 2 in red (wearing the sparkling red dress that she wore during her iconic rendition of "I Need a Hero", using her wand as a microphone); Radley Heeler from Bluey in orange (lounging against the edge of his section of the wheel); Chloรฉ from Miraculous Ladybug in yellow (transformed as Queen Bee, raising her left hand in a fabulous pose and with the venom top over her right hand); Prince Naveen from Princess and the Frog in green (smiling and winking at the viewer); James P. Sullivan from Monsters Inc. in light blue (with Mike Wazowski photobombing right between the green and light blue sections, though in true Wazowski curse fashion, most of his body is obscured and only the top half of his head and his waving hand can be seen); Barley Lightfoot from Onward in blue (smiling brightly and pumping up his fist in a victory pose); Tecna from Winx Club in purple (in her basic Winx transformation as seen in Season 1 of the original series); and Spinel from Steven Universe: The Movie in pink (in her post-heartbreak form, she's holding the gem rejuvenator over her shoulders, raising a foot and smiling wickedly).

๐ŸŽจ COLOR WHEEL ๐ŸŽจ

This took me a PRETTY long time and also a lot of IRL delays, hence why I'm posting on such a weird day (Monday). But I'm SUPER happy with the end result and that I finally got to draw so many of my favs that I never had before (these were all chosen by me hehe).

โค๏ธ Fairy Godmother (Shrek) ๐Ÿงก Radley Heeler (Bluey) ๐Ÿ’› Chloรฉ Bourgeois/Queen Bee (Miraculous Ladybug) ๐Ÿ’š Prince Naveen of Maldonia (The Princess and the Frog) ๐Ÿฉต James P. "Sulley" Sullivan (Monsters. Inc), with a bonus Mike Wazowski, bc I could not pass on doing the gag xD ๐Ÿ’™ Barley Lightfoot (Onward) ๐Ÿ’œ Tecna (Winx Club) ๐Ÿฉท Spinel (Steven Universe)

I also have individual slides of each one of these characters, but this post would be RIDICULOUSLY long if I posted them here. Maybe I will eventually, but in the meantime, you can check them out on my Insta or Twitter (or I guess the latter is "X" now. *SIGH* Just why? ๐Ÿ˜“)

When I tell you I'm glad I got off the train before it crashed and burned into the ground (more so than it already had by the end of Season 3)...

Let's go over everything that ML did wrong.

They refused to acknowledge any flaws Adrien had and called him perfect.

They refused to allow him a final confrontation with his father, and instead locked him in a room during a final battle with Monarch that should have included both Ladybug and Chat Noir.

They refused to redeem Chloe as part of a so called damnation arc instead of giving her the redemption they previously hinted at.

They sent Chloe off to live with her abusive mother, saying she deserved to be abused.

Nino never got his Scarabella treatment with the Black Cat, and was shafted in favor of Zoe for that.

They teased Lukanette and Adrigami at the end of S3, and immediately broke them up in the first episode of S4 because any other ships beside Adrinette aren't allowed.

After four and a half seasons, they brought up Marinette's stalking habits but blamed it all on Chloe instead of her owning up to her behavior and learning from it. There's also the inconsistency of her only having that behavior with Adrien and not Luka or Chat.

They introduced Zoe, Chloe's half-sister, without any foreshadowing in season four and immediately gave her Chloe's Bee Miraculous. Everything was basically handed to her where other characters actually worked to earn stuff.

They tried to portray Lila and Felix as these master manipulators, but the way they did it instead made everyone else look too dumb through plot armor and bad writing.

Nothing ever came up about Lila lying about being Ladybug's BFF after Alya learned Marinette was Ladybug, and should have not believed her anymore.

Felix didn't even get a redemption, and yet he's part of the team at the end while Chloe is not.

They shoved the last four hero debuts into one episode when they all should have had individual spotlight episodes because they were too busy salting Chloe and shilling Zoe to remember them.

They had multiple opportunities for the heroes to win back the Miraculouses Hawk Moth stole, but didn't because of plot armor and bad writing.

The retcons! The wish originally being equivalent exchange then retconned to world rewriting, Luka and Juleka being two years apart then retconned to twins, Socqueline and Zoe, to name a few.

The freaking sentikids plot! I hate that so much. They didn't start foreshadowing that until late S3 at best. They claim to be planning that since the beginning, but I call baloney!

There's probably more.

A fanart of Ember Lumen, a fire woman, and Wade Ripple, a water man, from the Disney/Pixar movie "Elemental". They are both walking in opposite directions from each other, but still looking back at the other with a curious smile, both clearly interested (and smitten). Ember is holding up her headphones, about to put them on. The light of her flame reflects off Wade's watery body.

๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ง Ember and Wade ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ”ฅ

(I call them Wember, but if there's a more popular ship name for them, pls let me know xD)

HAPPY ELEMENTAL PREMIERE DAY! Though it sadly isn't coming to my country for another week ;_: But that's only making me build up more hype for this movie than I already had, so I REALLY wanted to include these two in my ongoing 4 ship challenge, even though no one requested them xD

I stepped way out of my comfort zone with this piece as you can see, and I'm honestly so happy with how it ended up looking! Hope you guys will enjoy <3

A fanart of Eda Clawthorne and Raine Whispers from "The Owl House", as seen in the flashback from the episode "Eda's Requiem", as young adults. They're sitting back to back. Eda's long orange hair, tied in a ponytail, is flowing in the wind as she closes her eyes peacefully, breathing in and smiling. Raine looks back at her, also smiling, with a loving look in their eyes. The sky depicts a warm sunset.

๐ŸŽป๐Ÿ’š Raeda ๐Ÿงก๐ŸŽป

This is part of a 4 Ship Challenge that my Instagram and Twitter followers gave me suggestions for. I'll post the full template once they're all done, and of course, each ship will get their individual post beforehand.

I love the look of the "Eda's Requiem" flashback scene, so I wanted to try recreating it <3 Love these two sm

A digital drawing of my original character, Roxanne Brooks, with Bucky Barnes. Bucky, in the red henley + long hair look he sported during 'Captain America: Civil War', is gently grabbing Roxanne's hands, which are bandaged at the wrists, and plants a soft kiss on her right hand. Roxanne, almost a foot shorter than him, is looking up at Bucky with a surprised look, blushing. She is a young woman with green eyes, fair skin, and a concave bob cut dyed a caramel color. She wears a long-sleeved white and green t-shirt.

I honestly do not know how well Tumblr receives OCxCanon, but for some reason, this drawing felt like a good one to start with :')

To those not in the know, this is my Marvel OC Roxanne Brooks, superhero alias Seda. You can learn more about her on my Twitter and Instagram accounts that I have dedicated to her (and this ship), both @/OC_RoBrooks. Also see tons of cute drawings of her and Bucky being in luv.

I might delete this later :X

An illustration of Bingo Heeler from the show Bluey, but reinterpreted as a human. She's wearing her yellow and orange hair in two pigtails, and she's smiling down at a leaf bug that's walking on her knee. The picture depicts a warm sunny afternoon.

Human Bingo! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿƒ

YAY I'M BACK! Wanted to do something simple but pretty to retake practice before I tackled a larger drawing challenge that I've been preparing for a few weeks (if you follow my Twitter or Instagram you may know what it is, wink wink). Hopefully I haven't lost my touch c':

Bingo is just the cutest.

Zutara Week 2022 Day 1: Tradition

Unfortunately this is the only prompt I was able to get done this year. I really wish I had been able to do them all (itโ€™s tragic because I even have some roughs for mini animatics for almost every day ToT who knows maybe Iโ€™ll finish them one of these days), but alas I ran out of time and energy just getting off of a project and being in my 9th month of pregnancy. But hey wouldnโ€™t it be fun if my baby was born during this yearโ€™s Zutara Week. lol Anywho, just a very short little mini-animatic for this prompt.

Dedicated to the ZDAS, you all are still very much in my thoughts. n.n
