Ringo and George will never grow up
Taken by Paul, 1963
So if you isolate (and make it a few decibels louder) vocals on ‘you never give me your money’ you can here Paul (at least I’m pretty sure it’s Paul) sing along with the music, the music overpowers paul in this bit so when I first found it I was smiling like an idiot.
John Lennon, 1965: ‘I worry about how people are going to remember me’
2018:
The boys are in backstage discussing what they want the new album cover to look like, and John Lennon grabs the only paper that is around him and starts to doodle a few ideas for album covers.
Paul McCartney singing ‘Here Today’ in a London bookshop.
When he sings ‘what about the night we cried’ he breaks down crying.
oh how i long to have a friendship like paul mccartney and john lennon’s
