I love making physical prints of my work, especially holographic ones like this.

The Aladdin Wall!

Featuring: my college graduation cap I made, BOK character design prints by Gregg Barnes, OBC signed playbill, OBC cast and crew insert from the original souvenir book, and (possibly my favorite of the bunch) the opening night illustration by the amazing Squigs Robertson.

The four art prints were all bought from the Broadway Flea Market, but two separate years (BOK prints bought in 2021, Squigs print in 2022).

First, I'm sorry to hear about your tablet. I can only hope it goes well with finding a new one later down the line.

Second, for a potential Aladdin broadway idea, how about drawing Aladdin and his friends as children? Or maybe Aladdin as a boy and with your interpretation of his mom? What do you think?

Thank you! i've been doing some research for which one to get as a replacement. my old one i had probably close to 10 years now and was one of the more basic ones (it's a wacom bamboo) so I'm going to be getting a more professional grade one! end of an era i suppose.

i love the idea of BOAK as kids (may do that another time), but I chose to depict little Al and his mom. I imagine she was strikingly beautiful, and had curly hair like Aladdin does. I referenced some of the marketplace outfits worn by the ladies in the show for her dress. with her being a mom, i made her outfit a little more modest, so her stomach would be fully covered.

(i rarely draw ladies so this was fun!)

For the Aladdin requests, how about a scene from my Broadway sequel headcanon?

Had fun drawing Iago slowly losing his cool here as he realizes who he's talking to. The fourth panel is my favorite. Also really love how Omar looks here.

Original cast because I can. And I gave Aladdin his monkey's fist necklace because him not wearing it in the second half of the show is so lame, so after the show ends and he can be himself again I think he would wear it. Gotta match the homies.

My tablet, after almost a decade of serving me well, seems to be on the way out :( so probably no digital work for a bit sadly

BUT I want to get back into doing more Aladdin stuff so send me questions/comments/doodle suggestions (i'll just do simple stuff in my sketchbook) about Aladdin, especially regarding BOK!!

really just want to get my mind thinking about the show again to maybe spark some ideas :))
