please dont stop talking about palestine . i do not trust israel and there has been multiple ceasefires theyve completely ignored . if we do happen to see iof soldiers leave and no longer occupy palestine , they would still need to rebuild . this includes medical aid and addressing airborne diseases , finding displaced families and reuniting them , etc ... their entire infrastructure needs to be rebuilt so please do not forget about palestine and do not let the US take credit for their liberation .

i hate it when i cant even write a poem about something because its too obvious. like in the airbnb i was at i guess it used to be a kids room cause you could see the imprint of one little glow in the dark star that had been missed and painted over in landlord white. like that's a poem already what's the point
i can't vibe with anyone who thinks icarus was an ignorant idiot for flying too close to the sun. "oh i'd never do that i would have remembered my father's warning and been fine". do you seriously think that after years of imprisonment, feeling the sun on your face and the open air beneath your wings, you would be able to focus on anything but the joy of being alive and free? do you actually think that if you were given the opportunity to go where nobody has never been before, you wouldn't want to push it to the limit? to dare to be the first to try what no one else has ever even thought possible? do you honestly think you're too good for your own human nature? look me in the eyes and tell me if i strapped a pair of wings to your back that could take you wherever you wanted to go whenever you pleased that you'd be careful and sensible about it. you are not better than icarus just because you have the benefit of his example.

Besides my deteriorating laptop not able to handle the size of this file (crashing 15+ times) I wanted to share the process since semickolon (Mickole Nulud) wanted me to! [UNTIL THEN SPOILERS]π
I really wanted to play on the themes of moving on and self-delusion. In Act 1 The Ruling is the constant looming force despite never being talked about by Mark, and yet it drives everything forward nonetheless. And I guess, you know the rest if you played!
I was also inspired by twilight sunsets while riding through Mahabang Parang Angono (sadly, I have no pictures), since a lot of the topography in the game is hilly and mountain-adjacent like Rizal itself (& because the skyline there is sooo beautiful and unmatched, you can see all the way to Metro Manila!)

i dont think that people actually dislike 'fluff' in writing its just that not many people know how to write characters well when nothing high stakes is happening and therefore the scenes feel bland or wasted (tucks and rolls offstage) because they can only imagine people to be interesting during high action scenes and not during the slower moments in between (slides on a tomato) likely because they consider their own life and the people around them uninteresting and cannot imagine characters they want to like to be anything less than larger than life when in reality the quiet humanity between action is the core of all good character writing (gets shot)

also uh i just want to say: listening to marietta got me through a lot. there's some kind of reassurance you get from realizing someone else has felt the way you doβ especially when they put it in a way so painstakingly accurate to /how exactly/ you feel it. listening to marietta feels a lot like listening to what i used to never allow myself to say or feel and it made me feel less alone than i'd convinced myself i was.
anyway,,, i'd be yapping if i go on any longer lol basically i'm just really glad i found marietta!

Took me until about halfway through college before I realized βstudyβ means βplay with the material in a variety of ways until you understand itβ and not just βread the assigned chapters and do the homeworkβ and I think that probably should have been discussed at some point prior to that.
