Charismatic (in moments of need) and charmed with an elegant grace, White Blood (Or Catherine, for the intimate folks) is a well-known lady in the alcohol smuggling business of St.Louis, mainly leading her gang into the city's rural area.Local rumours say half of her face was destroyed in a circus accident, but none is further known about it. Along with the booze, she co-manages a stable that breeds and sells racehorses, owned by her husband, Chester.

Meet Sofia! Being the daughter of Catherine Blackwood and Nicodeme Savoy, Sofia is a sweet girl with a lovely personality (according to her mother) and good nature. She has an interest in bugs and general curiosity towards her father, which comes by for a visit sometimes given the opportunity to do so.

These days have been hectic, stressful for me and the people around me. In which, one of them had to leave this earth. It will be in our memories like the sun remembers the moon after the stars rise.

As much as your eyes are covered with dried tears, you looked at the star you chose and thought; I enjoyed it when I was there. I will miss it, but soon I will feel the sunlight on my skin, as well as the brightness of every night and day to come.

“Kill shelters” are the shelters you need to donate to.

“But shrimp!! Kill shelters are evil!!”

No, shut up, listen to me for a second.

“Kill shelter” is a colloquial term used primarily for Town/City (aka municipal) shelters that rely on incredibly limited government grant funding to operate.

These shelters, by the very nature of their existence, DO NOT HAVE the funds to operate like private rescues do.

On top of this, they’re also *legally required* to take in ANY animal that comes to them. Even if they’re full. Or they’ll lose all of their funding.

This is what leads them to needing to euthanize for space. Is euthanizing for space sad? Yes. But due to the current crisis, it’s also NECESSARY.

These shelters are constantly overfull. They’re STRUGGLING. They don’t have the funds to operate properly. And yet these municipal, government funded, struggling shelters are the same ones that are most likely to be providing care for owned animals in the community

Municipal (“kill”) shelters are the ones hosting low cost spay and neuter clinics. They’re the ones discounting vaccination appointments and microchipping. They’re the ones that have pet food banks so struggling pet owners can feed their pets that week.

These shelters are not evil. They’re doing the absolute best they can with the bare minimum funding they get.

These people are incredibly resourceful and care very deeply about the animals in their care. It breaks their heart every time they have to euthanize an animal that couldn’t get adopted.

These underfunded shelters need your money significantly more than that fancy private rescue you see on TikTok or instagram that has a beautiful facility and has never had to euthanize an animal ever.

Support your local shelters and they will give back to the community thousand fold.

Sincerely, an animal welfare student who’s tired of seeing the hardest working professionals shat on because of circumstances they can’t control.

The rabbit cried silently through the night, regret and sorrow breaking his heart.

The wolf of the sky heard the sobbing, he couldn't do anything about what happened, not change the present too.

“Why do you cry rabbit?”

He asked even though he knew the reason why.

“I stained my paws with blood, now I try to wash it away with my tears.”

The rabbit sobbed.

“You cannot wash it away with tears rabbit, leave it be and it shall come off on its own time.”

The wolf answered.

“But the animals will be scared of me, they will know what I did.”

“And you can't hide it, but you can learn to live with it. Some animals may choose to not forgive you, and you cannot force them to.”

“..”

“Do not stain your paws with new blood, so they know you won't do that again, they will know you have changed.”

“...Okay but, am I still a bad rabbit?”

“Only what you do on the present will be able to name you that on the future. Show them you're better now, and be strong to accept not everyone wants to forgive, can you handle that?”

“I'II try.”

This started last year as a vent, although it faded away from it's original concept. Anyways, it was nice to play with the golden tones and the sea looks like bread.

Do Not Let it Wilt

Flowers grow, bloom, and then wilt, but some wilt much earlier, due to peer pressure, or problems in their lives.

Do not think you will never bloom, some take longer than others, but they will always do.

If you find yourself struggling in life, say something. Silence is one of the worst swords and shields of history, do not meet that fate.
