there is an inherent tragedy when it comes to 49% kim dokja because he himself is doomed to never be enough for his companions by his very nature and this is of course a very cruel realization. especially when it leads to his companions reentering the scenarios and putting both themselves and him in life threatening danger. crazy experience to look around at the people fighting and almost dying and know its because they chose this over having a happy ending with just you. but i think if i were 49% i would take comfort in the fact that its not really because they don't love me, or can't be happy with me. its that they love all of me so much, even this part of me that i've lost, that they're willing to fight to put me back together again. then again, can you still conceptualize that as love for yourself when its a part of yourself neither you nor companions know? a complete stranger and your other half......more you than you are.....
