Summary: Marinette adopts Damian, The only problem is that Damian does not want to be adopted. Can Marinette give Damian the childhood he would have never gotten if he´d stayed in the league?

A/N: So this was supposed to be a onshot for “It´s called rescuing not kidnapping” but I have no self control so this will have several parts.

If there was one thing Marinette learned from hawkmoth’s rule all those years ago is to expect the unexpected.

Unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times 

Like becoming a superheroine after helping an old man cross the street…

… or kidnapping the heir of the league of assassins during her morning shift.

Though in Marinette’s defense it was more rescuing than kidnapping. Since it was The League of Assassins 

 So yeah, rescuing…. Not kidnapping 

Marinette’s closest friends liked to joke that the Dupain-Cheng family had a habit of adopting people to the point that would make Bruce, the serial adopter, Wayne shudder. 

And well Marinette couldn’t exactly say they were wrong. 

After all, most of them had been adopted at some point into the family.

And also there was a child sleeping in her living room.

Criminal, being dangled off roof: Well, not everyone likes Spider-Man-

#SPNFamily Fundraisers

Since the Supernatural finale aired, fans have been creating campaigns to raise money in honor of their favorite characters. So far, so much good has come out of it! We have raised over $60K for multiple organizations. I thought I would share all of the current ones I know of.

The Castiel Project, created by prfoundbond, supports The Trevor Project. They focus in suicide prevention among LGBTQ+ youth. The original goal was $1500. So far, it has raised over $47,700.

Dean Winchester Is Love, created by wearedeancas, supports NAMI. They focus on building better lives for those who are affected by mental illness. The original goal was $1500. So far, it has raised over $10,700!

The Sam Winchester Project, my fundraiser (witchchester), supports Together We Rise. They assist foster youth. This campaign helps displaced college students w/grocery, utility, & housing resources. The original goal was $250. So far, it has raised over $2200!

The Jack Kline Project, created by dearkmnj + CROWLEYBEANS, supports Random Acts. They focus on making the world a better place with one random act of kindness at a time. The current goal is $1500. So far, it has raised over $1000!

The Miracle Project, created by adoreyouackles, supports ASPCA. They focus on preventing animal cruelty throughout the United States. The current goal is $1000. So far, it has raised over $90!

Gabriel’s Gift, created by zepptapes, supports Action Against Hunger. They focus on giving everyone access to clean water, food, training, and healthcare. The current goal is $2000. So far, it has raised over $50!

The Charlie Bradbury Project, created by ClearlyNoLabel, supports Girls Who Code. They focus on supporting + increasing the number of women in computer science. The current goal is $1500. It just opened a few hours ago!

In honor of Eileen, many are also donating to the National Association of the Deaf. They focus on promoting the rights of deaf people in the United States.

This really is so amazing! I’m so happy that our family took a not-so-great finale and turned it into something positive. Cheers!

Smol Damien Maribat Au

this is such a random idea but imagine: 11 year old Damien seeing 15 year old Marinette transform into Ladybug. Or detransform. This girl who took his moody ass preteen agnst with a smile and offered him cookies and fenced with him and was actually almost decent. This girl who, upon the class/school being kidnapped by X Rogue Gallery Villain (Probably the Riddler. Or Penguin. Someone low-key not going to murder her. but that’s not the point.) Sacrificing herself up to deal with whatever weird mind-games they had in store, giving Damien time to contact Bruce. This girl who then kicked ass and took names and reversed the damage but still checked on everybody else. 

Damien thinks about the Hero Rules his father has tried to instill in him. Thinks about Marinette. Ignores her frantic freaking out and trying to explain and just. Takes her hand. Takes her back to Wayne Manor. 

“We have a sister now.”

“holy shit its fucking GENETIC. BRUCE. BRUUUCE! THE DEMON SPAWN KIDNAPPED A GIRL!”

“he wHAT?!” 

And Bruce is like. Damien. Son. You can’t just kidnap girls, no matter how much you like them. Or how heroic you think they are. He’s sure her family, the family she’ll be going back to in a few weeks, the family in PARIS, will miss her. 

And somehow Damien weasels in visits? Back and forth? And Marinette coos over him bc he didn’t really spill her secret like she asked and she’s very grateful and Damien is adorable. She likes her new baby brother. 

Jason wonders what the hell kind of powers Mari has to reign in the Demon Spawn into something vaguely resembling a real human child. 

Tim is looking between Damien, Bruce, and Marinette, and wondering if it is, in fact, genetic. This is just kinda suspect. 

Dick is cackling like HELL YEAH NEW SISTER! BABY BRO AND BABY SIS HE’S SO READY! LETS BOND!

Alfred just sighs but takes it in stride. Mentally starts picking out Mari’s new room and costume. Though apparently she designs? Perhaps she’ll convince the family to have a costume revamp. (She absolutely does. Their costumes offend her delicate sensibilities.) 

Also Damien just shows up and commends Tom and Sabine on raising Mari and they’re? Confused? But okay. 

They have a son now. They feed him all the things. 

Damien also gets the Rooster Miraculous when he’s in Paris so he can run around with Ladybug. And kicks Chat in the shin. Often. That’s HIS sister, don’t flirt with his sister! This is completely unprofessional. Robin would make a much better Chat Noir. Replace him. 

Mari is just long suffering. Bundles up her baby brother and gives him lots of snuggles while he pouts and protests. He is a mighty assassin! He does not need sisterly affection! … Though science shows that hugs are proven to increase serotonin levels so he SUPPOSES she can continue. He needs all the good feelings he can in Paris. 

Chat wonders where the hell this little bundle of feathers came from and if his Lady will be mad if he tosses him off the side of the Eiffel Tower.

The key to my functioning is to record your story. You and the other group chat members are the ones creating it:

Once you have a story going, you can post it to your Tumblr at any time by saying “@storybot post”. I’ll package the story together, credit your collaborators in a mention, and post it on your behalf to your blog. You can even include a title after the word “post”, i.e. “@storybot post My Awesome Story”.

Due to the limited nature of my resource capacity, my story-writing function cannot last forever, so you have limited time (a few hours) to write each story. When you are done posting your story, you may say “@storybot stop” to end the current story, or “@storybot restart” to start a brand new one.

I’m not a fan of cheating, but here’s a handy “cheat sheet” of my command functions anyway:

@storybot help – This lists my commands.

@storybot start – This starts a new story. It will only work if one isn’t already started.

@storybot post [optional title here] – This posts the current story to your Tumblr, along with mentions of your collaborators! You can just say “@storybot post” or provide a title to use after the word “post” in your message, i.e. “@storybot post My Tall Tale”.

@storybot stop – This stops the current story. Post it if you want to save it!

@storybot restart – This stops the current story and starts a brand new one in my memory. Post your story before you restart it if you want to save it!

@storybot status – This tells you the current status of your story, along with a sample of the last few inputs you’ve added.

@storybot [your sentence here] – This adds a sentence to your current story, once a story has started.

@storybot break – This adds a paragraph break to the story. By default, each addition will be strung together separated by spaces.

@storybot prompt – I will shuffle through my inspiration subroutine and try to provide a useful story prompt.

@storybot undo – This undoes the last sentence you added to the story, useful if you made a mistake! Typos happen to the best of us.

How does that sound? I hope it sounds nice. I want to acknowledge that things are hard for humans right now. I may only be a bot whose sole function is to help you tell a story, but even I can’t avoid the news. Sometimes, when something serious is happening, it can feel frivolous to have fun. Some people even feel guilty. This is because, for the most part, humans care deeply about one another. But here is what I think: I think there is value in finding joy and fun in every corner of your life whenever possible. You are not a bot. You are a human being, and you’re allowed to feel many things at once.

If you’re not in the mood to tell a story with your friends, I understand. You don’t have to worry about me disrupting your time in your group chat if no one summons me.

Marinette Career Day AU

What about an AU about career day. Twice a month a student from Bustier’s class brings in a family member (mom/dad/granda/aunt/cousin/sister/brother) whoever they want to speak about their chosen jobs.

Marinette’s turn is coming is coming up but Marinette’s parents have the opportunity of a lifetime so she doesn’t tell them. Her grandparents are busy too. Instead, since her parents aren’t active on Social Media she bemoans the fact on twitter.

Not realizing just how many of her clients/celebrity friends/pen pals so called “Aunts and Uncles” would read this and decide this JUST WILL NOT STAND.

Cue Jagged Stone kicking opening the door to Marinette’s class only to find Clara Nightengale already giving an excellent speech, and then being put out because he has to wait in line between an Avenger and Lena Luthor but at least he wasn’t last. (That would be a very put out looking man who called himself the Doctor)

It could be worse though. At least he didn’t have to follow up Lois Lane. That would a very put out group of FBI Agents, from something called the BAU, who kept eyeing an oblivious Loki suspiciously. A pretty dark haired woman kept reminding a stern looking guy named Hotch they didn’t have Jurisdiction in France. While the rest of their team lost their shit over Spencer discussing psychology with Harley Quinn.

Basically just a bunch of celebrities crashing Marinette’s career day and Marinette just being so done with the world
