You can do that in your teens too
what do people in their twentys do except go to the grocery store……….
I feel like this is writers straight up talking to us shippers
This is the best "incorrect quotes" post I've seen
more ineffable hubbies in sitcom scenes
I got "Bad guy" stuck in my head but instead of Billie's voice it's a dog barking in tune
I'm sorry but what is the actual fuck with those sliding ads? Tumblr are you fucking nuts?
P. S. YES, there is a duck in a dress and a gun on my dashboard, nothing to see here
I relate to this with every fiber of my body
“SCHOOL. This is the prison for the innocent. This is fresh-faced 5-year-olds being abandoned by their parents. This is 12 years of your life you can never get back. This is the kid having a panic attack in the toilets. This is being the kid having a panic attack in the toilets. This is the teachers ignoring the bullies. This is the teachers BEING the bullies. This is popping pills because grades are more important than mental health. This is waking up every weekday morning wishing you never did. This is back pain from overstuffed backpacks and headaches from stress and tired eyes from lack of rest and the sigh of relief when the bell rings until it all starts again the next day. This is being taught how to multiply x and y but not being taught how to do our taxes. This is being told about Henry VIII’s wives but not being told about the environmental destruction threatening our lives. This is being educated about safe sex but not about consent. This is the sexist dress codes. This is being force-fed information no longer relevant to the world we live in and this is being treated like a child but expected to act like adults when it’s convenient. This is older people saying ‘kids our age’ are lazy and rebellious and unambitious when what we really are is DESPERATE. Desperate to survive, desperate to escape. This is us; the generation who has had to learn how to survive by the skin of our teeth and yes this is a poem but it is not poetic, it is fucking devastating.”

The best thing about the season
Is this where people speak vOdKa?
Jesus I found you in the pool of hateful posts - totally agree, and I don't know why so many think the show was trying to make us forgive Bryce when in fact it wasn't. Nobody forgave him, actually. No one of the characters said he was redeemed. They just acknowledged he was trying to change, which he was, okay? And the sheer fact of him trying to learn how to be a human being doesn't make him likable or even normal, but it's important to show that nothing is black and white
s3 isn't about making us forgive or justify Bryce's crimes, it's about being humans and not proceed violence he caused.
he should have stayed with his fault alone, his way of seeing all the damage he'd done already was his punishment. he might be an awful person but he acknowledged it at least. you can't clearify Monty's abusive actions by him being a gay but somehow there's people who do. Bryce was sorry even if it's been late and Monty never was. there's distinguishes.
but taking their lives wasn't something someone had right to choose.
If I was the person interrogating Ani I’d literally be like “can you please stop talking like you’re in a 1940′s crime noir film and just tell me what the fuck happened to Bryce Walker?”
And this girl is just going on some philosophical rant that lasted the whole season and all of this goes on the recorder this whole idea was ridiculous
imagine being one of the detectives tryna figure out what happened to br*ce and this ani bitch is sayin corny shit like “settle in its gonna take a while” & “if you’re breathin you a liar” like ma’am we have a strict time constraint
Justin sitting on the couch with Clay and Jessica and saying "i love you guys" in that ridiculous tone is everything
Seriously you can like Alex, and I liked him too, but he pushed an immobile person into freezing water and watched him drown. You can't say it's okay, because it fucking isn't.
And the fact that he didn't have the guts to confess when the police literally arrested Clay in front of the whole school, or when Zach was ready to take the blame, just shows that he is weak. I'm sorry to break it, but it doesn't sum up to a good person
ARE
YOU
NOT AWARE OF
HOW HE
ESCAPED JUVIE
YOU MORON
YOU FUCKING IDIOT
SERIOUSLY
NOT A LIAR
JESUS CHRIST
Okay, you can think whatever you want of the new 13 reasons why season, but one thing we can all agree on - this season really showed guys showing affection towards each other and saying "i love you" and that's great. We don't see that very often, and it's important to show that men can be affectionate with their friends and that's what I'm thankful for this season
Ani - is - so - annoying
I mean I don't even want to explain it. I don't judge her or I don't mean she is a terrible character
But she is, in fact, annoying.
Yeah right? And I get that he is not entirely bad and people make mistakes and whatever, but Midge had already made a decision to end the relationship between them, they both had. And let's just say - she too cheated on her fiancé... With the person who had previously cheated on her... Again, what the hell?
yeah, I like romance. but you know what? I like women realizing their value and leaving trash men 1000x more
Guys, if you want to be a good artist and storyteller you need to absorb other media and influences beyond popular comics and movies and video games. Hell, even beyond visual art. Read novels, science articles, history books. Listen to podcasts, watch documentaries. Dip into different disciplines. Explore stuff outside your everyday. What you create and the pool of ideas you can pull out of is expanded by the knowledge you gain. Don’t do yourself a disservice by limiting your library. You never know when some weird shit you read about mushrooms could end up inspiring you or helping you solve a design/story problem.
Did they really have to squash those two together after that perfect closure summer dance where they both agreed it was time to dance with other people? Why, writers, why?
I don't even know anything about him yet but I'm sure nothing good
me shipping Lenny\Midge and ignoring what I know will happen to Lenny at some point
The ending of season 2 made me so pissed - did she seriously just come to screw her ex husband who cheated on her and left her because she felt lonely? And mind you, she had a fiancé at the time, sooo... Writers, what is le fuck ?
yeah, I like romance. but you know what? I like women realizing their value and leaving trash men 1000x more
How can you not ship them, seriously
I really like her with Benjamin, but you can't deny there's chemistry between them
listen…….i know that shipping Midge with Lenny Bruce is ultimately pointless due the fact that Lenny Bruce was a real person and that when it comes to his character on the show, unless she decides to go full revisionist history route with him, Amy Sherman-Palladino is most likely going to stick pretty close to how his actual life played out…..but i don’t…….como se dice……….give a fuc k

Iconic
Queen Christina (1933)
“The movie Queen Christina was based on the life of a real Swedish Monarch and lesbian. Hollywood changed the story, but traces of the truth seem to linger.” - From The Celluloid Closet (1995)
How do you call a sexuality when most of the time when you see an attractive person you feel too tired to be attracted to them?
Me all summer
i didn’t get any work done today but it be like that i guess
You know, all that shit that your brain makes up every now and then
That you're uncapable of change
That you're just pretending
That you are worthless
That you're wasting time
That in the future you will be so sorry for what you did or didn't do
Trying to shut it doesn't help. You need to face all that crap - slam the door and say:"Bring it on, bitch!"
And then
Take all the skill you have in debating
And destroy the annoying fucker
Not literally though, you kind of need it to live
I've read/watched neither, so potato, potahto
Cruel choices #137: you must consume one - and only one - of the following pieces of media.
1. Sailor Moon retold in the style of a 19th Century Russian philosophical novel.
2. The Brothers Karamazov retold in the style of a magical girl anime.
