I see these two as such a chaotic duo and I have no idea why. Super nice people, insanely smart, and while they have basic logic and common sense they would end up doing the stupidest things known to man.

Have some random (but not really) Octonauts headcanons because I can't think of any incorrect quotes at the moment

(Contains height/weight measurements, to give a better look at the character, as well as a few fun facts)

Part One: Captain Barnacles (Human/Hybrid version) _________________________

° Uses He/Him pronouns, Cis man (? Maybe ?)

° I have no clue what his sexuality could be, but it's not straight. 100% not straight

° Stands at 6'10, the tallest in the team

° Is capable of lifting 400+ lbs with ease, and can dead lift nearly 600 lbs (polar bears irl can lift/handle about 1000 lbs)

° Weighs around 250 - 270lbs, has a good amount of body fat and muscle (polar bears have about 10cm of blubber/fat, as well as about 15cm of thick fur to keep them warm) (Little bonus: Polar bears have black skin! Their fur is "white" [it's actually clear/hollow] to help with camouflage, and their skin is black as a way to help absorb the sun/avoid sun burn and such!)

° A living heater, the amount of body heat this man produces is insane, but very welcomed when it's cold

° Covered in scars, like on his wrist from when his hand/arm was stuck in the giant clam, falling rocks, Gup crashes, etc.

° Probably let his sister give him an ear piercing or two

° Has picked up and thrown like, half of the team. Just for fun, and probably because they asked. Kwazii is the most frequent

° You can see him casually walking around the Octopod while carrying 2 people in his arms/on his shoulders/on his back while holding a conversation with them

° Has managed to get into a fist fight with random people/creatures. He isn't a fan of fighting, but has won every fight

° Would listen to any type of music, it just depending on his mood, the most common being Nicki Minaj (he is canonically a hardcore barb), but he'll listen to anything that is recommended (mainly by Dashi or Tweak)

° Not too good at most video games, but surprisingly good at Mario Kart (with tilt controls). He also enjoys puzzle/party games (a good form of team building)

° Autistic with sensory issues. No I will not elaborate.

° Infodumps back and forth with Shellington and Professor Inkling, as well as some of the other Octonauts (if they ask). It's a common occurrence to walk into the library and hear Captain and Professor going at it about sea creature, the octopod, etc

° Has managed to break the steering wheel of the Octopod a few times due to turning it really hard. Tweak has managed to fix it every time, but Captain still gets upset at himself

Wholesome. Precious. Awe-inspiring even. The way that Kwazii jumped/swam in front of Peso to guard him (despite looking scared himself) is just amazing.

I can't even begin to count/write all the times Kwazii just jump to guard anyone on the team ^^

He kicked down that door, which is probably covered in rust and other things, while wearing a very thick deep sea diving suit, while very deep underwater. Like, the amount of strength/pressure/force that would take?? Absolute tank.

Random Octonauts headcanons that have no (technical) purpose ^^

- Kwazii fell off his bed a lot as a child and would stay asleep the entire time

- They still do it now, and has scared everyone at least once

- Dashi does everyone's makeup at random. She will just randomly walk up and ask to do their eyeliner

- Tweak is crazy flexible and it creepy everyone out, especially Peso and Shellington. She can kind of just untangle here arms from behind her back with ease

- Barnacles runs into walls at random. He just zones out and doesn't realize they are there

- Peso has 100% managed to accidently bandage his hand/flipper to a patient before

- Shellington always has some sort of sticker on him at all times, whether it's on his face, labcoat, pants, shirt, or even in his hair/fur. The Vegamals just put them there

- Tweak has probably (accidently) broken a joystick or two while gaming

- Professor Inkling randomly forgets where his monocle is while he's wearing it

- Peso used to be that one kid who would randomly info dump about the most bizarre anatomy facts

- Kwazii likes to play with random items they find, like a slip of paper or an (unused and safe) wire. He'll just fidget with anything

- Shellington has to wear glasses but normally forgets them
